My stay at the Hoxton Holborn was excellent. Rooms were not spacious, but comfortable, clean, and stylish. Sophie at the front desk was friendly and helpful on checkin.

Location. Lobby and bar area. Music and vibe You need to remember to ask for cleaning the room and the Recepcion did not tell me in check in..

    Nothing. I loved the hotel.

Such friendly staff (thanks Sophie!) close proximity to everything, comfortable bedding. Nothing.

Love the lobby / bar area -- not all hotel guests, but adds to the vibe/energy of the place. Staff were fantastic and attentive -- noticed I was having a rough day so offered me some drinks on the house. Room spotless on check-in. I found the in-house dining team slightly rude.

Sophie was a great host, very pleasant and guided us on the hotel and activities in London

I loved the location, so easy to walk anywhere in central London or to catch a bus or tube ride. The restaurant was so overpriced and not worth the money. Coming from far away, I didn’t want to spend time searching for a place to eat and headed to the restaurant but the options were all overpriced and disappointing, both for dinner and for breakfast. I also had a hard time opening my suitcase in the room, it was so small, not easy to move around. And the wait for the elevator was so annoying. They only had one working and there was always tons of people in line…

Wonderful lounge downstairs, nice restaurant, bar. Excellent air conditioning on hot days. Comfortable bed, love that the bed was positioned to look out the windows. Excellent location, friendly and personable staff. Restaurant provides reasonably priced à la carte breakfast, and there are other breakfast options within walking distance. The only thing I would change is that our room, probably the smallest, did not have anything to place suitcases on. So we had to open them up on the floor.

Staying here was such a great decision in order to explore and experience London! It was a short walk from the train stop coming from LHR airport. Immediately, we were helped by Sophie who was SO wonderful and accommodating. We were able to check in early with no problem. She wrote down all of her recommendations for the area in relation to what we usually prefer to do - vintage shopping, great food, and museums/history. We ended up getting a complimentary upgrade to our room which really made us feel special and looked out for to start our trip off. Location was perfect. It was tucked right into SoHo, but not so much that it was rowdy or too busy directly around the hotel, which is what we prefer. Walking only a couple of blocks we found ourselves in the midst of it all, in all directions. The room was clean and comfortable! The only thing I’d be mindful of is room cleaning; they stop service at 3pm every day so if you’d like to request a room turnover, just make sure it’s before 3pm. There was always security at the doors which just helped the place feel really looked out for and monitored as far as hotel guests. There is an ANALOG FILM BOOTH in the lobby!!!!!!!! It is so cool and we took a photo strip each day of our stay. Such an amazing detail for us to be able to opt into for a few pounds. Overall, would stay here again for sure. Great service.

Beautifully designed while still comfortable, great location

Centra location close to bus lines, tube stations, Euston railway and more. Very convenient location. Tiny, tiny rooms with barely any amenities. Lackluster staff. Restaurant and cafe was barely mediocre. Housekeeping only on request. You can much, much better for your money.

I thought the room was excellently furnished, given how tiny it is. I thought it was very well noise-proofed against city noise, but not necessarily able to conceal the sounds of my romantic neighbors' activities. I liked the vibe of the bar and restaurant down below, and had excellent service from both the staff (shout out to Krupali and Nienke at the front desk) and to Abi and Luis and the adorable bar) and the servers. I also loved the location, and felt like it was great for what I wanted and needed! I travelled alone and felt safe and like there were lots of protective layers between the outside world and my room! The house - keeping (on request) was excellent and made the tiny room feel fresh and new each time. There was very little that I didn't like. The main thing was the bed. It was lumpy and kind of lopsided and slanted down towards the headboard area. We stuffed some of the nice decorative pillows under the "mattress" to help firm it up and create a more level line. I can assume it challenging to get nice big mattresses into tiny rooms, yes, but there are memory foam ones that unfurl on their own and could remedy this situation. I also didn't like hearing my neighbors have sex, but that's kind of expected.

Location We had 3 rooms all different sizes to suit our families needs. Rooms were very basic. Not even any cotton wool or slippers for the bathroom. Towels were grey with age. Found someone else’s water bottles under the bed.

Location is perfect, 2 minutes to the Metro. There are many cafes and restaurants around. The lobby of the hotel is great to spend time. Nice coctails. Room is very nice, but we had the 18m2 one at the 1st floor. Did not have breakfast but I saw many people enjoying. The house keeping is upon request, you have to tell at the front desk.

Very cool and comfortable vibe. Gorgeous room. Love the photo booth in the bar. Iconic memories to last a lifetime. ? All good!

    Bedrooms are small

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

The lobby and bar area are nice. It’s spacious and the staff is very attentive. The rooms are a bit run down for the money. There also was someone else’s hair on my pillow case when I came into my room.

The mosquitos in the dining area were annoying and having to put luggage on the floor of the room was less than ideal.
