Very nice people. Friendly and helpful. It’s a little old fashioned.

The Wi-Fi was slow and dropped out sometimes.

Location. Size of the room.
-
Location Small according with American standards.

The location is excellent for spending the day in Madrid. It is comfortable. Breakfast is not served, but there is a wonderful restaurant on the corner.

Location was great, lovely Mexican restaurant next door, close to Metro. Walls are super thin, we had people come in late with a baby who screamed for hours and could hear parents talking and then woke to someone throwing up. Only one super long pillow to share which isn't ideal. We had 2 rooms and asked for them to be together as our 14yo daughter was on her own but the rooms were at opposite end of the building. Turned out ok as the building feels very safe.

All good for the price.

Location and staff Heater did not work well

This is a very basic hotel with an affordable price and an excellent location—everything is within walking distance. Victoria III shares the building with two other hotels, and its sign is placed quite high, so it’s easy to miss. Look for the Carrera and H. Astoria signs to enter the building. You’ll need to be buzzed in and then take the elevator up to the 4th floor. The room is quite small, the shower is tiny, and sound insulation is minimal. You can hear what’s happening in the next room, at the reception area, and even outside, so it’s not the best choice for light sleepers or anyone looking for a very comfortable stay.

Close to restaurants and many major attractions. The photo clearly was taken with a lens that enlarged the area. It was much smaller in the rooms than it appeared on the photo

This place was great. It had a comfortable bed, a closet, a balcony, a good location. Well maintained. Classic/old architecture. In the center. ...i got nothing. I'd definitely go back.

When we arrived at the hotel, they told us they were overbooked and didn't have room for us. They couldn't refund, therefore offered us a room in Victoria Hotel II, which turned out to be a better option because it was located right in the center, but the room was smelly, without the balcony, it would've been impossible to spend the night.

The price is excellent, you are in one of the best areas of the city, and everything is nearby. Our host was very kind and helpful. Sol is 5 minutes away, and when you walk to the right side, you can find an alley with excellent Latin restaurants. Sometimes the hot water takes some time to come out, it didn't bother us, just something to keep in mind.
-
Quaint. Exactly what you want. Clean. Hard to find. Weird elevator.
