Recuerdos de mi tierra

It’s close to the El poblado park, a block away. People are very nice and helpful, and also they gave us great recommendations of restaurants.

Air conditioning worked well and there is hot water. The cleaning and cooking staff were very nice. The basic Colombian breakfast was tasty, chocolate wasn’t great but there is also tea and coffee available. Bathroom not totally clean. Room darker than seen in photos, second bed was up steep stairs in a loft and wasn’t convenient with a small child. Didn’t realize the room would be like that, because the hotel posted photos of various rooms under the same option.

The bedroom

The property owner has two different properties with the same name. The two rooms we booked were for the higher end version. But when we got there, the owner had given one of our rooms away. After a pretty heated discussion, we as in my group, came up with the solution to stay for the first night on the lower end version. Let me be very clear the owner was the one that pointed out how in their system someone had changed the rooms we booked. But first, she blamed us for using booking instead of directly them. Secondly, she tried to say we had booked the lower end version of the room. When I showed her the photos of the rooms, that’s she blamed booking again. Her only solution was I’ll give you the money back and tried to leave us on the street. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Their customer service is lacking to say the least. Not only they initially blamed the customer but also their lack of due diligence to check the system they are using is working correctly, it’s absurd.

Everything was perfect, close to everything, the staff was the best EVER in Medellin! Lovely place! Thanks for everything!

Superb

It can be noisy if you have bad neighbours. All the room are located next to each other. We got a group of noisy tourists next door and they were drinking & yelling at midnight. I had to reach out to the receptionist for help.

Good location, pleasant staff. Comfortable beds and a large room. A few minor repairs would improve the overall appearance.

We stayed there for 3 nights and everything went great. They offered us the breakfast in the morning and even drove us to the hospital when we needed it ! Exceptional hosts. It’s also located in an area with lots of shops and restaurants.

Clean , quiet , location is very good . Breakfast is very poor .

We felt the photos were too exaggerated. The bedrooms are way smaller and darker as they seem there. There was no natural light in our room. We also had to be relocated to another "hotel" nearby because we found a tick on the bed. Nevertheless, they did not refund us or anything. I felt overall super disappointed, It was also so loud of the first night I could not really sleep. There are other rooms above us, and you could hear the people, doors being open and so on...

Beautiful rooms and house. Very well located and very nice staff. Thank you ! Breakfast could improve. We found it a bit small.

Staff is very kind and polite Rooms don't look like the website photos, rooms are pretty basic. No soap was provided even when the dispenser was in the bathroom.

Location, clean room, friendly stuff Noises from kitchen in the morning, so sleep till 7:30 max. No windows out, so no daylight and unable to air the room out. Frustrating.

The stairs

Location was safe and quiet at night. Staff very helpful Breakfast option could be changed up, we stayed 4 nights and the sam breakfast was offered each morning. Room has no window, however this is personal preference and could not be possible since it's an old building converted. wifi could be improved.
