The Hotel exudes class in ways that the flashier -and far more expensive- places catering to the Dubai set cannot hope to achieve. Reception and bar staff were wonderful and the room received excellent service. A very large beautifully furnished top-floor room facing the rear of the hotel and Milan's skyscraper district, It came with a large bathroom and nice antique-style furniture, excellent free wi-fi and all modern comforts, except, bafflingly, for a kettle/coffee-maker. the remote-controlled shutters and heavy curtains offer total black-out and exterior noise is not an issue. The hotel bar and restaurant are both beautiful and the latter is acknowledged in the Michelin guide as one of Milan's better eateries. The beautiful main bar is well hidden next to the concierge desk, while if the lobby bar is the all-day alternative even if decor-wise its nothing to write home about The rooftop Spa offers a very big gym, a large pool and jacuzzi tub, as well as a small sauna and steam-bath and, importantly, a wonderful veranda to sit after working out and, this being a pretty tall building, admire the cityscape. The Principe is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Duomo/Scala and the adjacent fashion shopping area but offers a rare for hotels, invaluable and very frequent shuttle service. The city's metro and regional rail network operate a very big and well-served station with an exit only a few steps from the hotel. The luxury-hotel-lined square on which it is situated is also conveniently about 10 minutes on foot from the railway station, but never once felt unsafe even during late night post-dinner walks. The lack of coffee/tea making equipment in the room was something of a surprise in this day and age but as far as the room goes there can be no other complaint even for this class of hotel. Concerning the spa, the pool may be big but the sauna and hammam are on the smaller side The main gripe however is the brightly lit all-white, pretty cold and clinical decor, more in the style of a sanatorium than a luxury hotel...

I did not like that you deduced hot dishes during the breakfast . As for the guest who has an appointment, meeting and does not have enough time to wait for a hot dishes , it is very uncomfortable. Before you had hot dishes in the buffet during the breakfast , also more selection of cakes now you digressed the quantity of sweets .

The staff, the location and the service are impeccable. The concierge is especially attentive as well. Would appreciate the addition of an in room coffee maker.

We had a very nice, large room. But the beds seemed VERY OLD. And, in general the hotel seems a little tired - stained carpeting etc. We had just come from the St Regis in Florence and the difference was significant. The Dorchester was disappointing. Needs some updating.

The room was perfect, the breakfast was amazing People tended to wear bathing suits in the sauna, but I guess this is Italy and not Germany

Love this hotel and will return again. It’s a classic like where Audrey Hepburn or Cary Grant might stay on Christmas Holiday. The staff were great and there’s a complimentary shuttle that runs down the major thoroughfares. I enjoyed the spa, food, and bar. All top class under the Christmas lights.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Principe di Savoia and had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a large bathroom that added to the sense of comfort. The overall facilities were elegant and well maintained, and the staff provided excellent, attentive service throughout our stay. The hotel exudes timeless charm and sophistication, making it a lovely base for exploring Milan. If there’s one area for improvement, the room was a bit dark and the bathroom, while large, felt slightly outdated. We also found breakfast to be good but somewhat pricey. We didn’t have a chance to try the spa or the pool, but overall, it was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay that met the high standards of the Dorchester Collection.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and the major tourist attractions. The hotel is elegant and grand with an impressive lobby which was smaller than I had envsioned it. The view from the gymn/spa area was spectacular and I would highly recommend visiting this area. I enjoyed the pool and sauna which was not crowded . The spa staff were welcoming . I thought it was overpriced for what we got. The room was overlooking the " courtyard " which was really the air conditioners that were so loud you could not open the windows because of the noise. We ate breakfast a la carte which was terrible in pricing but more importantly in taste. I would not recommend. The buffet looked better.
