Hotel Bernina

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was spotless and noiseless, the location was perfectly situated to spend a day seeing the city and taking the train north for some rest. I greatly appreciated them allowing me to check in early , very very kind of them and made a huge difference on my trip.

Nice hotel very close (4-5 minute walk) to Centrale station. Convenient location for those arriving by train late in the evening or departing early in the morning. The beds and pillows are “minimalist” but comfortable for a nights stay.

Did not want to stay after seeing room and they woukd not refund me so got stuck there

Cute decor in lobby and dining area. Breakfast was out of this world and served by a very attentive and pleasant lady. Air conditioning was nice and cold! Room was smallish, not much room for luggage. Beds small too.

Nice location if you want to catch a train to Como lake. There was no iron tho - couldn't iron our clothes. There is a service that you have to pay for them to iron your clothes.

Location truly wonderful- central to all transportation, good restaurants. Hotel design and art displayed is edgy stunning- just what I looked forward to in being in Milan. Staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Slept very comfortably and room was quiet. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Good location, clean room, nice smell of the linen Thin walls, doors and noisy cleaning ladies yelling under guests doors at 8 in the morning. Also I heard everything that people did in the next room in the night (talking, laughing so on). Couldn’t sleep for 2 nights (

Worth what we paid. Excellent location near the Central Train Station & the Tram entrance. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet looked very good but not included in our budget rate. The room was noticeably smaller than the double bed room shown in the website.

The breakfast was tasty and more than sufficient; most of the food was delicious. The waitress was very kind and attentive—she even remembered how and when we preferred our coffee. The location was ideal, with easy access to the airport, Como, Sarravella, the city center, and other destinations. The quilt is not covered with a duvet cover. We asked for a bedsheet and wrapped the quilt with it like a duvet cover. They offer free water only for one night. Other days you need to buy if you want.

Very clean Hall carpet on the third floor needs replacing.

The location is great if you need to be able to easily access the train station. It is a reasonable taxi ride from the Duomo - maybe walkable for some who are quite fit, but the main advantage of this hotel is the close proximity to the train station. The linens, bathroom etc were very clean. There is a lift/ elevator. The mattress is very firm which some may like. The pillows are also very firm, which was difficult for me. It would be nice if they included 2 extra ones that were softer. This is an older and basic hotel with small rooms. Some people could find the size of the bathroom uncomfortable. Do not expect “fancy” - just clean, pleasant, and close to trains. We ate at two restaurants on the street and were not impressed, but okay.

Good location for access to Milan centrale

The location is excellent—just across the street from Milan Central Train Station and a two-minute walk away. It’s perfect for a one-night stay if you’re catching an early train the next morning. The room size is good with two twin beds, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel also provides two complimentary bottles of water, along with tea and coffee and a kettle. Staff are nice. Restaurants and coffee shops are just outside the hotel. The Street Bar coffee shop is great Bathroom is small, that’s common in Italy I guess.
