Always a great staff who are helpful and nice. Great free breakfast too!

Great location within walking distance of the Biscuits stadium, Dreamland BBQ, lots of other restaurants, the Hank Williams Museum, Riverfront, and lots of Civil Rights historical sites. Staff was friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the valet service. There were some renovations being made while we stayed, but they didn't impact our stay at all.

Someone some how came into our room and took my wallet. A police report was taken. My wallet in my purse was removed. My purse was hidden but only wallet taken No phones in rooms to call front desk. Not much help this morning when we discovered it missing. I have an email into manager, because I can’t make phone contact. No response yet. 100% dissatisfied.

The above items had intermittent issues during the entire stay. According to the temperature probe we had, the room never got below 74 degrees. No matter what the thermostat was on. The HVAC unit filter was completely clogged. There was numerous long hairs in the room, and bathroom. None of us have long hair. The ice machine on 4th floor worked. It's the only 1. It was empty except early in the morning. The leaks wasn't to bad, but the shower doors opening was aggravating. Plus the noise & air coming from the single pane window was extreme. The door guy, Craig was helpful. The room key worked on the last day we stayed. Very thankful 1 set of stairs was useable. We used stairs Alot.

The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location is convenient to restaurants and local attractions. The breakfast was satisfactory. The desk clerks were pleasant and helpful. The carpets and floors in the lobby, elevator and hallways were covered in dust and dirt from the ongoing renovation. Only one elevator was in service. The valet parking is disorganized and too expensive. Parking for one night was nearly $70.00. The attendant was preoccupied with their phone, when we arrived, and when we were leaving, the attendant was nowhere in sight. We would stay again, for the convenience, but we'll self park, next time.

Old No complementary water bottles

Location Indifferent staff, refrigerator and coffee machine in our room were not working.
-
Awful! Horrible order. Valet was terrible. No clock or working phone in the room. One elevator which didn't work well at all! Rude effeminate white male desk clerk! Annoyed with us like why were we there!
-
Upon arrival my hotel key did not work properly at all I was given two different keys and they didn't work finally the desk clerk had to come up and found out that the doors have been freshly painted and was stuck there was no heat in the room at all and the air was poor. Elevator was down several times it was not a good visit I'm willing to give you a second chance maybe

Breakfast was very good. Valet parking was quick.

They were going through construction while I was staying there and floors were covered in dust. Elevator was having issues (one of them was out) and the free breakfast was not very good. Housekeeping did not come by my room at all during my stay.
-
The location is tremendous and the staff is working through the renovations well and doing their best for customers.
-
Convenient to downtown event. Continental breakfast was a big plus as well. I also like the new closet organizers. Nice staff. Going through renovations so only 1 elevator worked but it’s just a temporary inconvenience.

First off, it is under construction but was never mentioned to guests until arrival. Only one of the elevators were working, as well. The air never got below 73 degrees and when brought to the front desk’s attention their solution was “we reset your air” — the room then never reached below 72. Both the sink and shower water was scolding hot with no adjustment available. The only time cleaning services came is when we asked and the sheets were still need changed nor the bed ever made. The website states that there is a washer and dryer, but it is only for the cleaners to use. That was extremely misleading, and considering the cleaners did not come regularly, unhelpful. The ice machine on our floor did not work and turns out the only ice machine working was on the second floor. Charging the amount they did while under construction and not providing full services was ridiculous.

Loved the room and the staff was great. Breakfast was average but well staffed. Parking was by valet only and not that easy to negotiate. Love the walking distance to restaurants and museums. Due to location had some noise on a Saturday night but not too bad for us. Very friendly, hospitable place.

Very convenient location. Unique building. Friendly staff. Very walkable area.

Old dated No Amenities HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Parking and Valet Service Hotel to anyone. Hotel is in a great location but the hotel itself is TRASH!!! TV would not turn on or off properly .. No blower in the bathroom... Iron Nasty... Not even a $5:00 clock in the room or even a bottle of water in the room.. . This hotel is the Capital City of Alabama they should be mandated to provide the best customer service. There were about 15 of us that stayed at this Horrible Location. We were there for a graduation for my nieces Doctoral Degree....Very Expensive Stay for the level of quality and comfort we received.
