The staff were amazing. Extremely kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a great location and I will definitely be back. Great value for the price. Great location, very easy to get around. Good customer service goes a long way with me and the staff were excellent. The beds weren’t as comfortable as I’d like but I slept ok.

Breakfast and room fine, although room showed age. For example, ancient thermostat, old furnishings. A hotel sponsored Jazz festival party ran until early morning hours, ~2am. Hotel proactively provided ear plugs, but didn't really help. We asked to be moved to a quieter room, which was available, and a "garden" view. We had a Lake Geneva view, and they won't swap it, unless we paid them even more money. We will never waste money here again.

Location along lake Geneva provided great views and access to walkways along the lake. The carpet was very dirty and needs replacing!! Our room had lots of stains. Not sure if it was blood or wine but very off putting. The hallway carpet was also very dirty.

I prefer my next stay to find something better

The staff was outstanding - they responded positively to every request we made including a room upgrade and moving our car to/from parking. Everyone was wonderful. The A/C in the room was excellent The heat meant the lobby was uncomfortable to remain in for long. A/C would be a nice enhancement.

Location and view Very poor service Dirty carpet in hallway Certainly not a 5 star hotel

The location was great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The AC was killer great. The water pressure was very good. There wasn’t AC in the lobby and restaurants. I was there in a heat wave. It’s still a very nice hotel but beginning to feel dated. Reminded us of Trump towers; gold glitzy mirrors era . One staff member at front desk was particularly unhelpful but 99% were lovely. ( isn’t it human that 1 bad moment casts a shadow) ( I’m working on that) . I think when I return I’d try a different hotel if I can find a place that was within my budget. ( again very particular to each of you)

This is our go to hotel in Montreau. The rooms are large and beds very comfortable. Staff is great. Very good value for the location and room size. Restaurant could be better

Great Lake view from the room balcony. The construction view beside the hotel.

The view from the lake side rooms is spectacular, all our blinds/shutters worked well. You have very easy access to the lakeside walks - fantastic location. The service in the bar was a little slow to begin with, but once you settle in and they start to pick up your body language it got better for us. The bar by the main reception never seemed to be open for us, never saw anyone behind the bar. The spa and pool area were perfect for us and our five yo son, plenty of floaties to help him swim. I agree with the other reviews, the hotel could do with a refurbishment. Not sure when it was built or had the last refurb but it was a while ago! Saying that, when it was done, the fixtures and fittings installed were of very high quality to have lasted in a reasonably good state. I would recommend staying if you get a good deal, there are some major works happening next door at the Music convention centre but the site was closed for the holidays during our stay.
