Great location, great staff The bathroom too tiny, was a bit unstable

The room was perfect for one person and I would say even for two. The hotel as an elevator which I was extremely grateful for. The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom had everything I needed and the location was extremely good, two minutes from the subway and bus stops, walking distance to most of the main touristic points. As a woman traveling solo, I felt super safe in that area. There was a TV, enough space for organizing my stuff, a big mirror (so grateful for that) and a space for sitting down next to the window. The only thing that worried me was the lack of AC, but the hotel provided me with a fan and it was more than enough since I arrived on summer days that were not so hot. Overall, I think I got my money's worth and more! I would definitely come back. Thank you! As a global traveler from South America knowing the dangers of the world, it felt strange that I only needed a regular metal key to enter the hotel at night. This felt a bit unsafe because anyone can just copy a key and enter, but I guess that area is safe enough not to need an extra level of security? Same with my room, a regular metal key was needed for entering. So, if I had to recommend an investment to be made in the hotel it would be upgrading their keys to electronic ones that provide an extra level of safety but then again, I'm not a local so I'm not sure if this makes sense. On the other hand, I wish the hotel would switch the curtains location so they would cover the window and not the space for sitting down that is next to the window. I wasn't able to use that space because I would be exposed to the view of the neighbors.

    room smelled a bit moist

tv did not work . Was offered to change rooms , but did not bother

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

No AC, rooms were a bit dirty

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The sheets & towels seemed to be clean. The hallways were filthy, the beds were uncomfortable, the room was hot, one window was broken & could not opened. The window that did open had pigeon droppings around it. The pillows were flat - over all was a miserable night.

general cleanliness is very poor.. We reached on the first day and found stains on the bedsheet. Water collects in the bathroom and there is no way for it to drain out.. Hotel needs complete overhaul and need to improve the standard..

The location in the city was great. Only minutes from Marienplatz and the market area. Very limited parking. (only 4 spots for guests). We were one of the lucky ones who got a spot for our stay. Unless you ask, your room is not cleaned during the day and to towels were not replaced. We had to ask at reception for new towels. The room was small but did have a sitting area at the window.

    - Very friendly and accommodating staff - Lots of noise from the street at night: lots of sirens overnight and Saturday night stag parties around Munich meant sleeping was difficult. Bringing earplugs is a must!

The area outside can be very noisy, and some people around seemed sketchy. The hotel itself is quite old and not very well maintained, especially the bathrooms. Honestly, room size doesn’t matter as much when a place is clean and properly maintained. The hotel would benefit from more investment and better upkeep.

LOCATION! NOISE!!!!! There is a slaming door on each floors to get to the corridor then to your room. So much noise. Also, there is a parking just in front of each rooms and people in the middle of the night are sooooo noise. Because there is no air conditionning, you need to keep your window open if you want to have some air but then you hear all night people in the parking. No fridge either.

    Location and convenience

  • Engine customer May 2026

I've stayed at this hotel on a half dozen trips to Munich and the location the best for the money, the beds are good and the rooms are good. it's a short walk to old town and is only a block away from food and groceries there's really nothing i don't like about this hotel, maybe the bathrooms are a little small?

  • Engine customer May 2026

Good Location Hotel room with two twins pushed together was the smallest I've ever stayed in. Toilet/shower/sink are very compact and in a very small space. Two adults are very crowded in this room. Also, rooms not equipped with smart TVs so no ability to stream favorite stations from your phone.

    Location. Condition of bathroom.

The room & the hotel facility is really bad! It is not a cheap hotel to get this value! The bed mattress is really bad quality; you can feel each spring in your back. No power sockets next to bed. No water & kettle in the room. No restaurant in the hotel, and the vending machine closes at 10:30pm. The bathroom is super tight.

The room/hotel was very small and only good for solo travelers or minimalist couples. The location was walkable and the all day coffee in the lobby was appreciated. The price we paid was fair since the location was top notch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower was really small and generally that’s not a problem but the shower curtains were worn down and felt icky, since they stuck to your body when showering. Maybe they could invest in a better quality curtain or door since this is a hygienic issue.

    The staff was very great

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

The beds were super comfortable and I like the additional curtain in the room, providing a bit more privacy and protection from the morning sun. Overall, great value for money, especially if you are traveling alone and you are not keen to share a room in a hostel. The first room I got was really bad, from cleanliness to safety and facilities. Firstly, there was not hot water, not even warm, in the shower nor in the basin. Secondly, the mattress sheets were full of stains of unknown origin and thirdly, the lock on the door was kind of broken so it did not feel safe to leave my stuff inside. Or myself to be honest. I immediately contacted the receptionist and eventually it was agreed that I will be provided with a new room on a different floor. That one was really clean and functional so it met all my expectations.

I liked the room that was first assigned to me but when I returned after a long whole day of excursion, there was no water and nobody informed me until I informed the front desk and I had to transfer room from 5th floor to 1st floor, x4 to complete. The room on the 1st floor was bigger than my previous room but was old
