Captain's Quarters Resort

Check in process was smooth. Rooms were clean but the bed was hard as a brick. Not comfortable at all. Once you come in the room there is a bed with a tv (weird setup but I get the concept). The tv in that room was bigger and more up to date than the tv in the main section of the room. Staff was friendly. We had a great view of the beach. The jets were not working properly in the hot tubs and it looked as though they needed a good thorough cleaning (along with the pools). There was no A/C in the elevators which made it unbearably hot. I don’t think I’ll be returning for a visit.

READ THIS, Nasty hotel, they didn't refund my money I only stayed one night and they didn't refund my other 3 nights Don't stay in this hotel is disgusting , staff not friendly,. Trash in the pool , roaches everywhere.

Didn't like how they changed me $250 for a guest smoking a vape in the parking lot and then threatened to kick me out of my room!!!!

After traveling roughly 5 to 6 hours to the property; the room was not ready. I was compensated 50.00 food voucher for the delayed check in. Once in the room the toilet was rocket and the tv in the bedroom did not work. Spoke with hotel staff about the concerns and nothing was fixed. We stayed 4 nights fully paid with only one tv working. Has always chosen Captain Quarters because of the amenities for my son however I do not plan to return upon my next visit to Myrtle Beach.

It says on the website it was renovated. The rooms are horrible. Bathrooms worse. Stayed 3 days and house keeping came the day we were leaving. The water cut off for a couple of hours in the middle of the day. I went to the front desk because I didnt know and the older lady was rude about it, claiming they didn't know and it would only be about 45 min later. I paid a lot of money and should be able to shower and use the bathroom. They knew , and could have sent out a mass message or something. There is NO bowling alley, repeat no bowling alley. Don't believe everything on the site. Won't be going back again. Felt like I was deceived from the site.

Best thing I can say is the staff from the receptionists to the cleaners were super friendly. Parking was alright as well. Pools were kinda packed, but there were multiple so it was okay. The beach view is pretty good, but the price for 3-4 days is a little high for the condition of rooms on the 6th floor. There had to been a leak or small fire something of that manner because everything in the room was damp or moist. Other than that it was a decent stay.

We stayed in level 9 the hotel room is nice at first we have an issue with the water cooling system but so far it’s nice . They do charge you for everything $50 is you leave a mess ,$250 if you break anything . Parking is not free . They have a DJ at the pool all day and a ice cream stand for $7 a cup. It’s very nice . We have to pay for everything ! No amenities!
