Coral Beach Resort and Suites

The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The room was clean and as pictured. The location is convenient to dining, the beach, shopping etc. The pools and other amenities are nice. The drinks located at the pool area bar needs improvement, very weak for $$. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again!

Location was convenient. Nice indoor and outdoor pool. Kitchen in room was convenient and decreased cost of eating out. Front desk staff were very nice at check in. Food was excellent at pool bar Furniture in living room was awful and uncomfortable. We literally had to place bed pillows on the love seat and chair to make it more comfortable. Resort advertises 8 lane AMF Bowling Alley as an amenity but guests have to pay $17 per person for one hour of bowling which is higher than local bowling facilities. Lazy River did not work. There was no adequate current to propel the tubes. It was more work than enjoyable. We told one of the maintenance staff about the lazy river on Thursday and he said there hadn’t been a pool guy in a month and that he would fix it before the next day. It was never fixed and we stayed until Sunday. Resort rooms need to be updated.

Bad

Amenities such as the pools were great. Closeness to the beach. Location was central to attractions, shopping and restaurants. Quality of towels was disappointing. Housekeeping could have been better in removing trash and making beds. Hated coming back to a room with unmade beds and overflowing trash bins. The room seemed to have a smell as soon as you enter but you get used to it in 10 to 15 mins. Not exactly high on the cleanliness scale. The cutlery that came in the kitchenette was not clean!!! On the 11th floor the water pressure in the shower was terrible!! Sometimes there was no hot water. Nobody was sent to check despite having reported the matter to the front desk 2 times..!! There was not enough staff at the bowling alley and they charged more than the advertised price and we had to wait for 20 mins for the 1 staff member to attend to the issue while making food, getting patrons set up with the equipment and resolving technical issues. It put a damper on the whole experience. We never went back there for the duration of our stay which was a bummer because the family was looking forward to spending sometime at the bowling alley. Housekeeping staff was not very friendly.

It was big & nice place to book a family stay. Everyone was nice & helpful. No issues while we were there. Would book again They were doing the beach renovation, we didn’t know that .

Super friendly staff, beautiful views, my son and I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Check-in was easy, but surprised with the need to pay a $200+ security deposit that is eligible for return refund if no damage to property, or balance not used to pay for purchases charged to room. The furniture in the room looked very tired (well used). There was thick dust and hair on the baseboards and corners of the rooms and behind the beds. The room we stayed in was a double gueen with a kitchenette. There were no paper towels or wash rags,nor dish sponges available to wash the dishes or utensils used, and even one plate that we pulled from the cabinet to use was soiled with food prior to us using it. I also saw a silverfish bug in the bathroom crawling along the wall late one night after waking upvto use, but even worse , the entire unit had a "shrimpy" odor we all found offensive upon initial entry into the unit, that seemed to improve with blasting the AC units. . . We will not ever book at this hotel ever again.

The property didn't meet my expectation. I guess my expectations were higher as I thought it would be better as I was browsing through the internet. The room as good but the not the quality i expected for the price i paid. The amenities was good though.

The property is really big with lots to do. 4 outdoor pools and 3 indoor pools and 1 hot-tub. There are also arcade/bowling alley for an additional fee. A Starbucks on the first floor and a mini mart on the fourth floor. Restaurants within walking distance. The beach is right in front or behind you with an exit from the resort. You will need to bring your own chairs/ toys/ umbrella and beach towels. There are some rentals for $50 but closes at 4 pm. Enjoy your vacation!

What I like is that everyone was friendly and everything was nice and convenient and every need was anticipated. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Beach Resort and would definitely recommend it to families and travelers looking for a comfortable beachfront getaway in Myrtle Beach! Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with an amazing ocean view that made waking up every morning extra special. Being able to enjoy the beach right outside the resort was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The resort also has great pools and water areas, making it a fantastic option for families with children. There was plenty to enjoy without even having to leave the property. The beachfront location and beautiful views were definitely our favorite parts. It was so convenient to go from the room to the pool and then straight to the beach. Overall, we had a great experience at Coral Beach Resort and would happily stay here again. A great choice for families, especially if you want a relaxing vacation with the beach, pools, and everything you need right at the resort! 🌊☀️🏖️

Rooms definitely need to be upgraded. There was a persistent odor that was always coming from our and the modified housekeeping was not the best. Other than that staff were fully attentive, excellent pool and activities, great location.

The walk to the beach is much easier than places we have stayed in the past. This hotel has it all. Sometimes we find ourselves looking for stuff to do in between the beach. . This hotel makes it where you don’t have to leave. At all… Especially if you get a room with a kitchen! and the parking is convenient. They have some right out front and the parking garage is under the hotel. Making the walk short. Nothing to complain about.
