Hampton Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt

The staff were nice and the room was clean. There are some maintenance issues that need to be taken care of such as the fan in my bathroom did not work and the wallpaper was peeling a little bit on one wall. I was disappointed they did not have a hair dryer in the room. This is the first property I have stayed at in over 30 years that did not have a hair dryer in the room. Otherwise, I would recommend this property and I would stay there again.

Hotel was nice, it’s a bit older but still nice. Parking is expensive to say the least, paying to park in the hotel parking lot is a bit much, non valet. The room was quiet and the bed was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel has seen its better days, for the price it we paid i feel that the upkeep of the place should be better. The staff were very helpful and nice and the breakfast had a lot of options.

The hotel staff did not even greet us when we came into the lobby. They were very short in their answers like we were bothering them. We arrived early to find out that the pool was out of commission. We had not been alerted to this fact, they only told us when we asked about pool hours. They could not tell us when the pool went out of commission or when it might be back up working. Then they said well you haven't checked in officially if you want to find another hotel. So we did and the Holiday Inn a mile away was where we stayed and had a wonderful experience.

The staff was very friendly and nice. That is about it. The pool had been drained, the threshold between carpet and tile in room had carpet tacks visible and coming through where the carpet was missing.(did inform the front desk) there was dripping water from the ceiling in the breakfast room. We were glad it was only 1 night. Sorry REALLY needs maintenance and updates. not worth the $ spent. yuk

It advertised a working pool. But when my son arrived it was just a concrete hole in the ground not water. NO POOL When I contacted the hotel via phone to attempt to get a refund the staff were rude and unhelpful. DO NOT BOOK

We found ling black hairs in the bathroom & trash under one if the beds. Also, the pool was not open. The staff, who were very polite, informed us that the pool had a foundation issue the week prior and it was not available. There was also a musty smell in the hallway of our floor.

The hotel was below average. Nothing was mentioned that the pool was out of service. I even received messages on Expedia the day before and day of arrival and mentioned that the pool was available for use.

Location Paying to park

There was a water leak above the juice machine and above an able in the breakfast room for our whole stay. There was a bracket hanging off in our bathroom for the body lotion bottle. Over all it was an okay stay

Exceptional

The pool had a crack so it was not able to be in use. The breakfast sausages were burnt so we didn’t even try to go the second day since the eggs were the powdered kind as well. The room was much smaller than what was pictured.

2nd time staying here and I will definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, great staff and great location.
