The Gilmore, an AvantStay Hotel

I love this hotel. It’s a great area of Nashville! Will definitely come again.

If I could give this property 10 stars I would! From the front desk staff to the cleanliness of the room itself my stay was amazing. My room was much bigger then I had anticipated and they even provided robes! I didn't really require the use of the hotel amenities during my stay but from what I observed they were quite nice. If I had any suggestions it would be to disclose that the garage parking is not free to guests, and the lighting out on the Poet's Patio towards the end could be improved. I stayed in a room at the very end and had to use my cellphone flash light to be able to see the keypad to able to enter my room.

Awesome place and convenient to good restaurants and bars. The only complaint is one elevator that takes forever. Stairs slot easier

Super cute place to stay. Love where it is located. Room was comfortable. My suggestions are to put a regular iron in rooms. Room had a steamer but sometimes an iron is needed as was case. Secondly, wish there was a shelf of some sort in shower as no where to sit anything. Lastly the power strip on one side of bed is not best idea. Between lamp, clock and needing to charge a device and option was a power strip. None of these would keep me from staying again

We have stayed here multiple times over the last 7 months and the last two stays have been different. The room was not very clean overall which is uncommon for this hotel. We did not contact the front desk since we were only stay a couple of nights. The staff is amazing and very helpful. If I would have asked, I believe they would have had the room cleaned again.

Location location location in 12 South is fantastic. Some niceties included music in the courtyard, ice cream and drinks in evening, scones/muffins in morning + coffee. Room was fine (small but ok with comfortable bed) and having a single, slow elevator (w/o nearby stairwell) was not convenient. Water pressure in shower was weak, and the WiFi was unacceptably terrible on both personal devices and streaming TV in room.

We loved our stay. Very clean and nice aesthetic. Location is A+ for shopping, food, coffee, etc. and close to downtown. The little thoughtful details like free ice cream at night in lobby, wonderful live music in the courtyard were extra great. We enjoyed that too!

This hotel was AMAZING! GREAT LOCATION! Karons was especially helpful! It was sooo clean!! I loved the rooftop and courtyard as well! I can’t wait to come back!!! Xoxoxo

Omg I LUV the Gilmore!

The perfect getaway spot for solo travel. Shops, restaurants, all within walking distance. The Skyline balcony was beautiful. Quiet hours were much appreciated as well. A return spot for sure!

It's a high tech place so your check-in is virtual and you may never speak to anyone but having said that when we asked for help staff were very nice. The room was great except for very low water pressure in the bathroom. There's parking on site which is convenient tho expensive. But we paid a ton to park everywhere in town so I guess no big deal. It's far from the center of town but we drove in every day and everywhere we wanted to go was only 10-15 minutes away so I'd say it's convenient and a good value for what we paid which was much less than if we'd stayed downtown.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and spacious Close to wonderful shops and restaurants. We booked it for my daughter’s Belmont University orientation. Please note that Expedia lists it as a 6 min walk to Belmont but it is actually a 1-mile (20 min) walk.

This property is amazing! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff so friendly and helpful. I am extremely particular when it comes to hotels and this property met my expectations at every level. I will be back.

I’ve stayed at the Gilmore twice now and it will be my go to place to stay in Nashville. It’s located in a great area. The staff is very friendly and super helpful.
