worst experience didn't worth what I pay for

It is near everything but The washroom is so dirty there is molds and dirt buildup in grout of tiles and the AC is controlled and it is too hot the windows are opened and broken we cannot close it so we heard all the noise outside we couldn’t sleep because of noise outside the street and because it is too hot in the room

Location was good
-
The building is kind of old

Super convenient location! Considering it was a room in Time Square, it was a great size for a family of 4; which I have found difficult to find in this area of the city. So many shops, restaurants and experiences within walking distance. The American Dream Mall, an absolute must with kids(plan for a full day!), was only about 15 minutes away via uber depending on time of day. The Gentleman handling bag storage before and after check out was very kind and helpful. Luggage Storage was such a great feature to have when your flight doesn’t line up with check in/check out times. Now keep in mind this is a an old NYC building so the elevator is very slow and very tiny. With one 20” rolling bag each, we were just barely able to fit all of us . On a positive note there are 2 elevators so the wait isn’t too bad. Overall, we had a great stay!

The room itself was simple and practical. Iron board, iron, safe. However, there was no microwave or mini fridge, no ice bucket. The bed itself wasn't as comfortable as I would've liked. The bathroom was small but enough to take a shower in a stall. Overall, this is the type of hotel you stay at overnight or maybe a few days. The bedlinens, carpet, layout appeared clean and orderly when I first entered the room, no pests. Great location for sightseeing, eating at famous diners, flagging transportation.

The location/cost is the best thing about this property. You are in the HEART of Times Square. It is a basic property, so if you’re traveling as a young college kid, it’s like a hostile, or if you’re just in for a quick trip, and won’t be in the room at all.

Lobby but location is amazing. Very good.

Shower had no pressure. The website said, refrigerators and microwaves upon request, none were ever available. Room was small. No place to sit, no hair dryers, only 1 outlet, and no clocks.
-
My main complain would be our bed was as squeaky as anything. The moment you’d sit it’d make the most awful noise and one cannot properly rest as when you toss and turn it makes sounds. Then, the A/C was not working at all nor was the TV in the room or multiple plugs also did not work. Even if this is one of the most affordable locations I do genuinely think it’s still too much for what you’re getting.

I had booked a room with 2 queen beds, we received a room with one king. For 4 people this did not work. Luckily, our plans changed and we didn't have to stay overnight. We used the room to freshen up and catch the train. There was also no chair in the room and no trash can in the bathroom.

The air conditioning was defective

The "accessible" room: - Bed completely unstable and unsafe for disabled person. My mom had to catch herself from falling off as the legs unstable and wobbles all over the place. - A/C not working, window doesn't open. Very hot in room. - elevator and hall to room too narrow to maneuver wheelchair. Not able to fit wheelchair and carryon on elevator. -not enough space between bed and wall to to safely transfer to the bed. - bathroom dirty and rusty. Shower chair very rusted. The hotel workers did not offer to have someone fix AC or look at the bed they just stated all rooms are same we had no choice but to leave. Never even i'm sorry. This hotel doesn't care about the safety of disabled guests. They claimed they would call to hear complaint and reconsider refund but of course have not done so. They tried to blame expedia and claim they don't have my money at first but now claim they just aren't going to refund.

Good central position for time square

Maria at the Oyo Time Sqaure reception desk was wonderful (deserving of a big raise). She went above and beyond to make sure our stay at the hotel was wonderful. She was so warm and welcoming to our family traveling from PR, USA. Would stay again just for Maria. 🇮🇹🇵🇷🇺🇸
