The shower had not been thoroughly cleaned; there was hair left behind from a previous guest, as well as a press-on toenail under the vanity. In addition, all of the towels were stained. I understand that towels are bleached, but once stains can no longer be removed, they should be replaced. The shower was stocked with wall-mounted Beekman 1802 dispenser bottles rather than single-use toiletries. However, the products in those dispensers did not appear to be Beekman 1802 and seemed to have been refilled with lower-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Their checkin system was not working so had to wait a long time to get to our room. The room had a single king bed and a rollaway bed was brought in for the third person, which took up all the free space in the room making it impossible to move around. We were given the bedding to take up to the room and were told to make up the roll away ourselves. At 6am the alarm clock went off waking up everyone in the room. We were told that they had shuttles to the airport every 30 minutes and planned to leave at 9:30am in time for our flight, but when we looked for it, the rude employee at the desk said he only had a single driver so we were on our own. Instead of an apology, he said “well that’s how it worked out today”. Overall, a very poor experience, employees who didn’t care and a company that only wants your money. Will never do business with this company again. Suggest you don’t stay here.

What a terrible experience, we just wanted to pass on the information for the managers of an otherwise very nice hotel. If you go, just put everything in the safe!? - even your toothbrush???! In the end, thanks again to Frank at parking for being great.

Not bad, this is a cheap place closed to NYC.

Diego, who covers the night shift, was extremely helpful, courteous, and soft-spoken. Unfortunately, my experience with the morning-shift staff, particularly Margarita, was very different. I found her behaviour extremely rude and had a very unpleasant experience. Because of the way she handled the situation, my family and I were left waiting at Penn Station for more than 30 minutes, around 11 PM. It was only after I called the hotel repeatedly and Diego arrived for his shift that we finally received the help we needed. I also found some of the other morning-shift staff to be quite rude and unhelpful. In addition, we were left with the impression that Margarita’s behaviour may have been influenced by our race, which made the experience even more upsetting for us. I would strongly recommend that management review this matter and address how guests are treated at the front desk, as this can have a significant impact on an otherwise excellent hotel experience. That said, I did not allow this interaction to affect the rest of my stay. I was very happy with the hotel overall and with the services provided, and I would like to acknowledge Diego in particular for his professionalism and assistance.

The hotel was just fine. There was nothing really wrong with it except for it had a weird smell. The area is not the best, but it was fine for a one night stay. Everybody was nice enough, but I don’t think I would stay there again.

Had to wait for staff to stop to stop looking at her cell phone to check in and out. Parking area is sketchy and the door to enter property is impossible to open without other person with suitcase. Hotel is clean and room was unique. Thin walls.

The room was spacious for being so close to NYC. Walking distance to penn station! The room had a bit of a musty smell to it but it was fine. Decent price for what you get.
