The staff was great. The room was nice. The only thing I would say would be the pull out sofa bed mattress needs to be changed out.
-
The staff was very kind and welcoming. Everyone welcomed our sweet dog when we arrived.

The room was clean and well-maintained from the moment I walked in. Everything felt fresh, spotless, and organized, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing.

The location was great for me. It was central to the places I had to go while in the Hampton Roads area. It was nice to have breakfast as an offering included in the stay. Having to pay for parking in an uncovered, non-valet lot was unexpected. While the cost was not excessive, it felt like an additional fee being passed on to guests, especially given the already high room rate.

When the charge for a 1 night stay hit my credit card, it was $50 higher than I expected, so I went to the front desk to inquire about that. I was told that it was an incidental fee that would be refunded when we checked out. When we checked out the next day, there was a $5 fee for parking. When you are paying $192 to spend the night, you shouldn't have to pay an additional $5/day parking fee. It is not that $5 is a high fee. It is the principle of the matter. Hotels shouldn't charge fees that are not fully disclosed at the time of booking. There shouldn't be a fee to park your car overnight. What additional fee will they charge next? I will probably look elsewhere for a place to stay in the future.

The property needs some TLC. Example in the room we stayed in the carpet is lifting up where the floor meets the carpet. The hallway on the 1st floor needed cleaning up some. The outside rug is filthy dirty and some lights are out outside of the property and in the hotel room. 112

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Good breakfast offerings. The hallways were rather dingy and need refreshing.
