The hotel is very old and not well maintained. The breakfast area is in the basement and is very dumpy. Food not great. Bugs/flies everywhere; pretty gross. Room itself was fine for what we needed: sleep after being out sewing the sights everyday. Queens beds? Very small. More like double beds. Close to everything, so in the end: you get what you pay for. Overall, it met basic needs. I will say that it has a nice little bar, and outside vending (very good Indian food!). The concierge was a very nice woman. Very helpful. I was disappointed and would not recommend.

- really perfect location - 5 minutes to the Prospect point and boats! - great view - you can see firework directly from hotel (upper floors) - parking for 10 USD per night - reasonable breakfast - costly (in our case worth to pay - you do not need to go from your hotel to falls and back day/night, to pay for costly parking) - some parts of the room were quite old and outdated - crowdy room during breakfast

What bothered me the most was the parking charge. I had already paid for parking, and I clearly told the staff member that I had already been charged. However, he checked the system and charged me again. Only after I showed him my credit card transaction history did he realize that I had been charged twice. The extra charge was eventually refunded, but the whole experience left me very unhappy. If I had not checked my online banking, I would have ended up paying for parking twice without even realizing it. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are many things that need improvement, especially cleanliness, facilities, and the accuracy of billing.

Location was excellent - within walking distance of all the main attractions: falls viewing areas, Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Wind. Parking was included. Cleanliness could have been better - hair on bathroom floor. Room prep was lacking - Room for 4 but stocked with 4 towels, 2 wash cloths and 1 hand towel. Front desk fixed us up with no problem, but with proper prep this never should have been an issue. Breakfast was fair, but not up to typical at other hotels we've stayed at.
