Close to a train station. The blowdryer was slightly broken - enough for it to not work properly, the TV has a preset volume setting to where you can barely hear it, no slippers in the room - they are 8 euros at the reception. We didn't appreciate not having a table for dinner at the restaurant one night - even as hotel guests, we had to sit at the bar.

The decor, the staff, the location, the hip vibe. I am an author and was going on a book tour for my dog. They put a special card and note in my room to make us feel welcome. Amazing Nothing not to like.

The hotel was so artsy and beautifully designed. The pool area and restaurant was amazing. WE LOVED THE BREAKFAST BUFFET- it’s a must :)

Great stay, well appointed rooms with parking. The service staff in the restaurants seemed unorganized.

My daughter and I were drawn to the decor and the rooftop pool. We are both artists so we were amazed by all the interior design, texture and color.

Bathroom and room were spotless.Location was ok ,short walk 10min to nearby attractions /shops . The bar and restaraunt staff seemed more interested in themselves than serving .Basic niceties like hello and goodbye ,or would you like something to drink ? I got ignored on numerous occasions to the point I left twice after 15 min as they were talking to each other on the bar .They never noticed ....Always having to fetch an ashtray myself.... Sadly coffee is awful ? and my last order of a double espresso with a drop of milk was met with ....yeah the milk is cold ...I said ok Then the bill came with 4.50 for coffee and 3euro charge for the tiny amount of milk!? I gave her 10euros ...not even a smile or a thankyou ...Sadly this let the whole experience down .spending over 2500 euros for 3 nights i expect service and not over pumped egos .Rolling eyes and oblivious to people walking in or out but plenty of time to chat with each other ... Shame .So many positive points but soured by the bad service of a few .

The design of the hotel is so much fun! The friendly staff was awesome, the breakfast buffet was fabulous, the comfort of the rooms were great, the pool was a key component. Oh and the movie selection on TV were awesome too! The AC in the room was set too warm or wasnt always working. The pool closed waaaaay too soon. The party vibe is a bit excessive, but was a good place to spend 6 nights and we made it work.

Brand new hotel. Very well located, close to the port. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Only one towel in the room for two people and they did not bring a second one although we asked. In the restaurant most of the items were out. No shower gel. Mama definitely does not like us anymore.

Very nice breakfast, comfortble dining area and lot of food to choose from. Mama Shelter is very nice hotel with a great rooftop area with a pool. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately their road construction going on right outside the hotel, horrible noice so we requested a room far away from the noice. We were also going to celebrate my 60th birthday but we ended up on the first floor, room 115 far away from the noice but with no view. Like staying in a bunker. Really disappointing specially when we had mentioned that it was my birthday. Our daughter had a room on the 4th floor with a nice view. No schampoo (just a soap) no conditioner, no bodylotion

Very friendly staff; great ambience and excellent choice for breakfast The room was very small and had no place for hanging clothes; this can be inconvenient if the stay is longer than a couple of days.

Stayed on my own with my 4 year old - everything was lovely. One thing is if you order room service you have to go down to collect as they don’t bring to you. Other than that a great stay all round :) will come back

Ideal location for our trip, great location to transport links and the old town. Exceptionally friendly yet professional service. Onsite restaurant was way beyond our expectations, also offering special main dishes. Absolutely nothing.
