I liked that they had a good variety of dried fruit, walnuts, and Nutella for breakfast because I’m vegan so I was satisfied with the selection. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Furniture could be a bit updated. Netflix option would be nice. Curtain around tub/shower would be nice as well.

Lovely hotel, centrally located. Room with lovely balcony as well. And aircon for hot summer comfort. Sat on a balcony watching the sunset - beautiful. With the most amazing staff. Especially Louise- went out of her way to help with my problem. Ever grateful for that. Most amazing breakfast too. Everything was just fine.

After switching rooms (see below), I received a room which was basic and small but fine. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. The room was bright, and I didn't hear too much noise from the street. The breakfast was fresh and varied. The location is excellent - in the center near the tram and affordable food options but walking distance to the beach and other attractions (about 20 min). The first room I was assigned was uninhabitable - there was a smell of sewage, I couldn't open the window or blinds, and it was noisy. There was no ventilation at all. These things only became clear during my first night; when I first arrived, I was so exhausted from a long overnight journey and then missing my connection that I didn't notice everything immediately. The hotel should not lodge guests there. I immediately reported this to Booking whose staff tried to help regarding cancellation but the hotel would not provide compensation or flexibility with cancellation at that time. The next morning I asked to switch rooms, and the hotel gave me a better one. While my second room was better, the walls were thin - I heard my neighbors' conversations very clearly! Also, it could use some refreshing (peeling paint, tired furniture, a little mold in bathroom).

Very convenient location, close to everything. Very kindly staff, responding to and resolving all requests quickly. Highly recommend. Nothing.

The WiFi was so bad. It would be on for 5 minutes and off for 5 minutes. Not good enough

Friendly staff, nice location with local food/grocery options. It was easy to get the tram from the airport to Garibaldi station and about a 10 minute walk. We ate breakfast at a local Boulanger just 2mins walk from the hotel each day which was great. We didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on their food. The room was small but nice and had a balcony which was also nice. It would be nice to have a small kettle in the room with some mugs and tea/coffee. I can't imagine it would cost a lot but I think it would make a big difference for guests staying there. The noise of doors slamming and people talking in the corridors are quite loud so it did wake us up at times but it wasn't a massive problem for us.

Hotel was in a good location, clean and overall met our requirements for the duration of our stay. Upon arrival friday evening (April 11th) we encountered quite a rude older male receptionist we tried our best to speak french -one of our group has particularly good french but the man never engaged in conversation or even just a few polite words- not what a receptionist front of house should be like it was very off putting and unprofessional. There were lovely female receptionist who engaged alot better which is appreciated.

There were three beds No hot water in the shower, super firm bed that was extremely uncomfortable, and blood stains on the carpet

I've read various reviews before our stay, so my expectations were not high. I'm happy to say the hotel exceeded my expectations. Great value for money. Yes, the room was small, but this is a 3-star hotel in France, so that's to be expected. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, room, sheets, towels, bathroom. Some people complained about sewage smell or mouldy bathroom, but ours was spotless. The location is great if you plan to visit the surroundings. Nice Riquier train station is 10 minutes away, so it is easy to go to Cannes, Monaco, Eze, Menton, Italy and other places along the railroad. Additionally, bus 600 stops in the street behind the hotel, I believe it also goes to Monaco/Eze/Menton. The hotel is within the walking distance from the Old Town and Garibaldi square, so it is easy to go to the airport. This location worked well for us, as sightseeing was the purpose of our trip. If you want to go to beach, that it's better to book somewhere closer to the promenade. I saw some people leaving negative reviews because of the construction works in the street in front of the hotel. We were warned about it during the booking process, so that's the risk we took. It would be unfair to complain about it. I must say that during our stay, there were no works in the street and it was quiet. Also, there were no issues with water supply, there was hot water and the pressure was great. It is also unfair to leave a bad review for hotel because there is no parking around or because the parking in Nice is expensive. Whenever I rent a car, I filter and search hotels with private parking. You cannot blame any hotel for the lack of public parking or/and high parking prices, it's on city of Nice. We were able to check in late, a bit after midnight, and there was a luggage room, so we were able to explore the city on our last day without having to drag our suitcases around. The check out time is great, you don't have to... The internet was slow and the signal was weak, we were not always/everywhere able to connect. I would suggest hotel management to invest a little into better internet connection, that's not expensive. Yes, the walls are thin and you could hear people in the hall a bit, but I brought ear plugs and I was able to sleep very well. The tables in the dining area are to small, it's not so comfortable for two to ear. Perhaps if the tables were square, not round, it would be better. Thought, the room itself was small, so I am not sure if it would be possible to fit larger tables, or tables of different shape. Overall, it's not that big of a deal. Yes, the rooms are small, but you can see that in the pictures and it's to be expected. Nevertheless, we were comfortable in a 3-person room.

There was good bread at the breakfast buffet, and the coffee was also fine. However, by the third day of my stay, there were hardly any fresh fruits left. The staff was in general friendly and helpful. There was a very unpleasant gutter smell in the bathroom; also the floor of my room was strangely tilted, with one corner of the room being more than 30cm higher than the opposite corner.
