The landscaping is really good: peaceful, quiet, full of fresh air

Nice view and quiet, away from the main town. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Room was very hot, air con didn’t work well even after switching rooms. 10-15 min bike away from town. Pool was dirty and cleaning didn’t clear room service plates.

I had another accommodation booked but I was not having a good experience so I re-booked a stay here at Athena. Upon check-in, staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I even got a room upgrade which made my day better. My room was very clean and comfy. The location was beautiful, as it was next to the karst mountains and rice fields. Bikes are free and you can easily bike to the Tam Coc town center. There are quite a few restaurants near the accommodations you can walk or blke to as well. Breakfast every morning was solid. I prefer Asian breakfast vs Western so I have no complaints. A huge shoutout to the security guards up in the front who were a delight to see before leaving and upon returning! Especially the gentleman who worked mornings. He was so kind and helpful. Bikes could use some maintenance (or maybe buy new ones). One of the bikes I rented had a faulty gear so it didn’t pedal at times. Another bike I rented had a broken kickstand.

The resort and its facilities are absolutely stunning. It’s conveniently located far from the city noise, offering breathtaking views of the rice fields. There are nearby restaurants, and the resort provides complimentary bicycles for guests. Alternatively, you can take a 15-minute walk to the main road, where you’ll find everything you need. Taxis are also available and reasonably priced. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast could be improved

Most relaxing location and the staff helped make it enjoyable Inadvertently we booked a suite and another room for only the two of us. The staff sorry I do not remember her name actually notified us she. We were checking in and we were able to change rooms and save money due to her honesty All great

Beautiful natural location ( next to a mountain & rice paddy) that embodies the spirit of Ninh Binh, a natural treasure of Vietnam Breakfast buffet was excellent with different choices of Vietnamese and Western foods: highly recommended. The hotel staffs were helpful and very accommodating: excellent service Natural setting of the hotel and excellent services

Located away from town. Beautiful setting. They are still in the process of recovering from recent storms and the dining facilities are in a bit of disarray. Children (patrons in general) playing iPad shows and movies should be required to use headphones.

The peace and tranquility. Bikes available anytime you wanted them. Nice and quiet. Lovely staff. Great pool. Mosquitoes but that can’t be helped.

The place is very nice and agreable, with a high level of equipment and a great swimming pool. We had forgotten a small bag with some document, passport, etc in the room when we left. We've been very pleased and grateful to receive messages from the hotel, asking us to come back to take it! Thanks very much again!

Location and setting is great. Throughout our stay there was a sewer problem and the smell was spreading all over the villa which was unbearable. Breakfast is very limited. Staff were very friendly. Please sort out your drainage issues.

Location was great! Loved taking the bikes out We stayed in T1/T2 which I would request not to stay in due to the location of the units. Mosquitos are an issue but that would be everywhere in the area.

Excellent room with terrace facing karst mountain. Well appointed. Beautiful grounds, swimming pool and gardens. Fantastic breakfast.

The swimming pool area and location next to the mountain made the property feel luxurious and unique. The pool was an oasis during hot days and an opportunity to talk with other guests and allowed children to let off steam. There was constant construction work going on in the driveway but this was not too much of a problem
