No breakfast included. Coffee maker in room didn’t work. The 2nd one didn’t, either. The staff was very nice, though, & the room, restaurant and bar area were really beautiful and quite artistic.

The hotel is very beautiful , comfortable and great location. However, we had an issue we with manager at hotel. I booked the hotel a month in advance thru Expedia. Everything was confirmed 2 nights upon our arrival to Norfolk and then 1 night a week later before departing Norfolk. On the day of our flight to Norfolk we called hotel informing them that we were going to arrived around 11:30 pm, they say all is good and confirmed . When we arrived around 11:45 pm we were informed first that they could not find our reservation at all, then they told us after a while that there was a pipe issue in our room and they could not accommodate us, they told Expedia to call us around 8 pm ( while we were flying). Expedia confirmed that they did not have any records of the hotel calling them. While we were there we called many hotels and due to a conference going in Norfolk there was not availability in any hotel. We slept in our car that night due to manager giving up our room to somebody else. It was unfortunate that the manager was clearly lying to us to and gave our room to another guess ( he did not admitted this) but I confirmed that no pipe issues happened at all. On our stay the week after( I could not cancel since Expedia will not refund) manager try to make up for it , but sleeping in our car our night of arrival was not pleasant and all because of him. Very disappointed with him giving room away and lying about it.

Beautiful hotel right next to the waterfront parks and Nauticus museum. Loved the adjoining free glass art gallery and artwork throughout the hotel and room. The only minor issue was that parking is in a public garage across a back alley from the hotel. Had no safety issues. There's only 1 EV charger available to valet parking only.

We love this property we stay here every time we travel to Virginia. I still can’t believe they haven’t raised the prices.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We loved the fact that it was connected/,combined with an art gallery. Upon arrival, we were shocked to see that there were no carts for our luggage and when we asked, the young man told us he didn’t know where they were and said we could go look for one… We said you can go look, we haven’t even checked in! He “looked” and came back to say that he couldn’t find one. We later found out that he was just the valet guy. So we proceeded to ask the lady at the counter and she also said she didn’t know. She did page a few folk though and we finally got a cart. At this point, my husband had already made a few trips up to the room carrying our things instead. The room was nice. The blinds were broken and so was the railing in the bathroom… The elevators were a bit squeaky. Outside of those things, it was still a pretty hotel, the staff were kind and we loved the glass bunnies lol. I feel like we’d give it another try.

The hotel is very impressive. The design and architecture are amazing. The location is great. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. It was very clean and updated. The staff were very polite and eager to help. Parking was a little difficult. The restaurant was a little out of our league. The complimentary $10 card was half the price of a drink at the bar.

Perfect location , friendly staff very nice and clean room! 10/10!!

I liked how clean and bright the property is. Most hotels lighting is pretty dull When I checked in the customer service wasn’t bad, but it was mediocre to say the least. It almost felt like I didn’t deserve the same great customer service others would receive because I was a black woman. The reviews for customer service were great but I didn’t feel like I got that same great service. When I checked out there were 2 employees at the counter gossiping, and as I was walking up I figured they move out of the way so that I can properly check out, but that didn’t happen. I ended up checking out on the side of the counter.

Seems like they had an attitude!

Valet parking is available, or you can park in the garage behind the hotel for a low, daily rate. Quality customer service. I loved the City View room. Exceptional dining experience and art gallery on the premises. You can even reserve a chef's tasting. Highly recommended.

Very good

Room wasn't properly serviced: coffee was not replenished; dirty wine glass left in the room for days. An exorbitant $311 hold was placed on my credit card even though I prepaid for my stay; management couldn't explain why the charge was on my card

I had lunch it was delicious! The view from my room was amazing There were no food menus in the room. The elevator got stuck a couple of times going to my floor

Don’t hesitate to stay at this hotel. The staff is welcoming, polite and very helpful. The ambiance is lovely. The cherry on top was the bar. The bartender she is a true mixologist and with many at the bar she was attentive to us all. Due to my canary drinks I don’t remember her name. Over and above service. The breakfast was the only low star. To me it’s not worth it. The rooms are as pictured. We loved our corner room.
