Staybridge Suites Chicago-Oakbrook Terrace by IHG

we booked a 2 bedroom suite for 5 nights visiting both Chicago and SF Great America, the in-suite kitchen had an extremely LOUD dishwasher and a stove that does not work, room furniture was a little worn down but comfortable, the hotel is going through renovations so hopefully the room issues will be fixed soon biggest problem we had was major parking problem with not enough spaces, every single night we ended up parking on the street maybe 8 minutes walk away with the lot always full

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly

The room itself was nice! The front desk staff were very rude! I arrived about 3 hours before check in, and I asked at that time for my 2 rooms to be on the same floor. The gentleman said no problem! I return at 4:30-5 to check in, and new desk attendant and. She said sorry no we can’t put u on the same floor. I wasn’t happy. And she did noting to try to accommodate! Wasn’t pleasant at all. I’ve stayed. At several Staybridge properties in various states and this one left me very disappointed! I will never stay at this Staybridge again.

Breakfast was good but we stayed there for 8 days and 7 nights and the second day we were at the table in the kitchenette playing cards and the whole 6 nights we were bitten by fleas we did notify the management and they were coming in the room to spray we were gone almost the whole day and came back still got bitten by the fleas if we were not uncomfortable about getting bitten it would have been a nice stay

No parking spaces is a problem

Room was clean, one of the bathrooms had a leaky ceiling that was evident that had been like for awhile. The ceiling had dried up water marks repeatedly

The check in process was very easy and quick. Staff were absolutely wonderful. The suite was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a great variety of items and were of good quality. The gym and laundry facility were a huge bonus since I was travelling cross country for 7 days. The pet policy was a bit confusing at first but the staff cleared it up quickly. I will definitely be looking for Staybridge Suites for my future travels.

like we had called and requested about two months prior. So it was instant chaos from the time we walked in. When we finally got to our suite it was disgusting. Food everywhere, bugs, burned curtains, ripped up carpet. Very dirty and not maintained at all.

Conveniently located in a great area near shopping, dining, etc… Clean spacious room comfortable bed clean linen sheets. House keeping came by to clean my room.

Elevator was down ,noise on Saturday night, loud noise on Sunday morning and my windshield was cracked by someone. Read above

Great rate for a last minute room. Very comfortable bed!

We loved our stay! We were near family and the attractions were within 30 miles. Plenty of places to eat and shop.

Everything was great from the warm welcome to the Breakfast everything was fantastic

$150 deposit for a crappy hotel?!? Hotels downtown don’t require this much for a deposit. Front desk lady was rude. No ice machine.
