APA Hotel Namba Ekihigashi

Best location, easy to connect to subway and airport nankai line APA standard, clean and well equipped Very comfortable stay for solo traveller -

Everything was great! Staff was more than wonderful and helpful, breakfast buffet was really good, the room and facilities were very clean. Room size was smaller than I expected. However, I dont think that should count towards a bad review. But it is the only reason why I gave it a 9 of 10. Its more a 9.5

Very clean and it was so close to shopping mall and train station. Everything is 15 min walking distance! I loved everything

The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Den Den Town, Namba Station, and many restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet despite being close to the city’s attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the amenities were well maintained. The room was small, which is expected in Japan, but manageable. I also think the hotel should clearly post a notice at the front desk and on its website that luggage forwarding should be arranged at least two days before departure. This would help guests avoid last-minute surprises and plan their travel better.

BEWARE of staff that COMPLETELY ignored a serious sexual assault that my husband and I witnessed on our floor. I won't explicitly say what we witnessed but it was serious and when we reported this to the hotel staff, they acted like it was no big deal or as if this happens frequently. They refused to provide any useful/helpful information and didn't do anything about the situation. They kept deflecting every point we made as to why they should take some type of action. I feel very sorry for the girl that night and wonder if they would even care about any other safety issues that occur on their property.

The way they sent out emails on the same day and ask for what time for arrival, if don’t answer them after 22:00 pm they will cancel the booking. What if you on the flight and your flight comes late at night. Will they cancel your booking even you already paid for it

the cleaning staff did not give us bottled water the next day and did not refill our coffee or tea packets. I thought it was free water, coffee, and tea daily.

Great location Rooms a little small

The location of this hotel is magnificent. Close to the Train station, tons of restaurants and stores. Walking distance to Dotombori (15-20 minutes ). I will stay at this location again. Breakfast could be better. We ate 1 day there. The other days we ate around. Fantastic places around the hotel

The air conditioner needs to be called to turn on every time I return. There was no coffee or tea refill the following day, so I had to call to request it. No breakfast was provided, even though I paid for a reservation that included breakfast so I had to pay for my breakfast at the counter when I checked in.

Should be the location Small, unable to clean the room, centrally controlled AC, not understanding English..so it’s maybe a way of not accommodating any issues

The location is great ! The room was clean and comfortable and all the employees were very caring. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and they changed the food selection daily !

This hotel is an awesome location. As with other APAs we’ve stayed at, the service is efficient and reliable and they have great amenities. We found the room smaller room than our last in Tokyo, and no underbed storage so our 2 small suitcases took up most of the floor space.
