Location is central Amenities in the room are good: towels, shampoo,bathrobes, creams and oils, multiple hairdryers Rooms are large Rooms are clean Very dated decor and furniture. Beds uncomfortable with sheets not large enough to cover mattress. No where to lean and sit except a massage chair. Noisy touristic area

Rooms were outdated and bathroom had mould in it. Walls were very thin and bed was not comfortable.

Good location Large room Facility is old and shows, needs update. Breakfast the worst, considering its cost Staff not English conversant. Not helpful. I was travelling with another couple and told front desk we want to be on same floor. I was given an end room on the 11th floor. It was creepy and scary. Hotel wouldn’t change to another room. Manager didn’t bother to come out to front desk, no English

The location is excellent. Close to train station for easy connections. The room was spacious. The massage chair was an added bonus. No place to store clothing, no shelves or drawers. The breakfast was not high quality.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating our engagement while in Osaka and the room we booked was perfect. Thank you everyone!

Your hotel advertised that the room rate includes breakfast served from 7:00am to 10:00am, but this is misleading. When I came down for breakfast around 9:15am, almost all the food was already gone, when I asked about it, the staff simply said, “You just eat what is left on the tray.” They also mentioned that they had stopped replenishing food after 9:00am. If breakfast is supposed to be available until 10:00am, guests should still have proper choices and not be told to eat only what’s left. This kind of practice feels unfair and dishonest to your guests. The breakfast time should either be stated clearly as ending at 9:00am or food should be replenished until 10:00am as advertised! It’s disappointing to pay for a service that isn’t delivered as promised.

It was very conveniently located near the Namba train station and ALL the shopping areas. The rooms were quite large (large enough to accomadate 4 big "opened" suitcases), very quiet. What's not to like?

Very nice rooms and bathrooms. But where timhis hotel really shined was their exceptional customer service!! On the way to Sendai, we realized we had left our nice jackets in the closet back at this hotel and we called first thing when we arrived at Sendai. They confirmed that they found our items and agreed to ship them to our new hotel for us with next day shopping! We received our jackets the next day! 10/10 customer service! We will likely stay here again next time we're in Osaka! N/A

Quirky in a good way. Older building with updated facilities. Great location. Large rooms. Room with large deck.

So near Namba station, travelling to and from Kansai airport was easy as well as to and from different parts of Japan. All the famous shopping areas are within walking distance from the hotel and the famous Don Quijote is only a hop skip and a jump away. Best of all, they have this "real" weighing scale in the lobby so luggages won't be overweight!? Shout out to Ms Yokoyama for her super friendly demeanor, efficient service, B'fast room staff for their friendliness and smiling faces!!! PS. Rooms are big. One can open 3 -4 large suitcases all at the same time! Believe me- my husband insisted on bringing 4 large ones with us on this trip?. Spacious bathroom- freedom to be able to move one's limbs without banging them on walls. Comfortable beds. Overall, for a hotel in Japan, Hotel Alps is quiet large in terms of space! Highly recommended!

Large rooms with view

This is the most spacious room that we had in our stay in Japan. The bathroom was literally the same size of the room of the next hotel room we booked. We had our own massage chair and jacuzzi in the room! Oh my God to be able to rest so well after a full day of walking. Breakfast was okay but could have been better. Our bed was made up of 2 double beds pushed together so there was an awkward hard line sticking out in the middle, and we always to re-push them since they move away from each other. Construction going on outside so you can hear mild noise from it during the day, but they stop when the sun sets so that's fine.

Check in was a little bit confusing at first because there was multiple desks, but not all of them were for check in. We did not have the breakfast, so no comment there. Otherwise a great stay!
