The room is a little dated and is beginning to show its age. The shower in the tub wasn't amazing.

The room they gave us was close to the elevator and there was an ice machine near our room as well. The location of the hotel was close to where we wanted to visit during our stay in Osaka. The mattress was uncomfortable. The bathroom was too small. The room smelled musty. The bed covers and blanket made our skin itchy. When we get dropped off in front of the hotel, there was not an open pathway from the street to the sidewalk, so it was an inconvenience to having to lift our luggage's over the railing or try to squeeze through a tiny opening of the guard rail.

The staff was helpful. The property was clean. The location was walkable to Dotonburi and Namba station. The laundry room machines were small and took long to dry.

The hotel is situated in a very lively and noisy neighborhood (near Namba) which is overrun by locals and tourists at all hours of the day. Of course this is not the hotel’s fault but the location although central and practical is far from ideal.

Nice amenities, modern furnishings. The onsen was a wonderful end to our nights and extra special to have an outdoor bath. Close to many restaurants and the main tourist drag. For such a busy area of the city our room was nice and quiet. Our teen enjoyed having her bed with a great city view. The included breakfast was great with some yummy choices. The room and bathroom was very tight, but typical for Japan. There was nowhere to hang clothes or open suitcases. Luckily we were able to bathe in the onsen.

We booked a high floor corner room which if you can get would highly recommend with great views over city. If you get a lower floor, especially on one side of the hotel you are in danger of having a view of a building next door being torn down (floor by floor very carefully and so this will be situation for many months). Spa was great with views of city - nice way to get that authentic Japanese bath house experience and these are tattoo friendly. Breakfast was pretty good, checkout just dropping keycard in a box and location is great for all the action in Dotonburi.

We thought the hotel was very nice - the rooms were large compared to some other hotel rooms in Japan, everything was very clean and modern. The staff was friendly and we were in walking distance to most of the places we wanted to go! We felt the hotel breakfast was slightly overpriced for the food provided
