Close to shopping area and restaurants Nothing to dislike other than maybe being a long walk or short taxi ride from Nankai station.

I like the location and how friendly all the staff were. Very helpful even at 2 in the morning. Also great breakfast buffet!

I loved the onsite breakfast offering and the variety. The hotel was so accommodating to leave the suitcases after checking out so we could still spend the day seeing sites before heading back out on another train adventure to another city.

Smelled like cigarettes throughout hotel. No additional hangers available. We were only given 2 pillows total for 2 people, and when we asked for additional, we had to go downstairs to retrieve them. They store luggage in the middle of the lobby (not very secure).

I asked about changing room but staff said all rooms are like this . Apart from this the staff were always polite and helpful. Room was clean

We Did not have breakfast. The location was excellent we were able to walk everywhere .

The breakfast had a lot of options and it was good. It is close to Dotonbori and that's why we picked it. The hotel is old and it is visible in the rooms. It was not clean and even after cleaning day it still didn't feel clean. Not very comfortable and most things felt cheap.

The location Very hard pillow, the room and toilet were very small, the ac was not convenient, no safety box in the room, you have to pay 3000 jpy to extend check-out for 1 hour and you pay 2000 if you lose the card

Centrally located to great shopping, food, transit stations and Dotonburi area. Rooms are very small and cramped. No closet. Bathroom is minuscule. Breakfast the same every day.

Location was close to Dotonbori, but it was a bit outside the madness, so location is very good. Really liked that there were free cold and hot drinks and a cafeteria where you could sit and bring your own meal anytime. The breakfast was also very good. Breakfast cafeteria could be more spacious. I would not call this hotel "grand" as the title says it, it is very simple, however decent.

Attitude of staff: lack of proactivity regarding helping us with a simple issue we had whereas, under same type of reservations, the issue was solved at other hotels in Japan.

The hotel was lovely and in an excellent location , just a short walk to main area of Dotonbori. Hotel was spotless , the only fault was the bedroom was small nowhere to store clothes just 3 hooks on a wall. Staff were very nice and breakfast was an added bonus. The breakfast selection suited most tastes with lots of hot and cold items to select. There was also free hot and cold drinks available 24/7 from the downstairs vending machines. Size of bedroom , it was a tight squeeze to walk round bed to get to other side, nowhere to store clothes , no wardrobe or drawers just 3 hooks on wall to hang your clothes. We had small cases but nowhere to store these either.
