It’s near subway and well located. But there are better options than staying here. It was our honeymoon and this hotel was the worst place to stay. First major issue the lack of blackout curtains or proper blinds. As soon as the sun started rising, the room became unbearably bright. By around 4 AM, the sunlight flooding into the room made it impossible to continue sleeping. We uploaded photos taken at 4 AM, two different days. We couldn’t sleep. Second major issue when we arrived we entered the room, there was a strong smell of humidity and mold. The bathroom was very old, unattractive, and poorly maintained. The smell was so bad that we had to keep the window open just to be comfortable inside the room. We told receptionist and they tried to solve issue but couldn’t . We can see there has been several complains on this issue on google, not the first time. Breakfast was poor, pictures of two different days, they don’t have bread for toast or fruit. And several times with no enough food on breakfast’s. You will think we arrived late to breakfast one is at 7:30 am and no egg. And the other is 9am different day. Breakfast was until 10am Room’s are cleaned every two days so in our 4 days stayed just one clean, Booking has a lot of photos but the room itself was also nothing like the photos shown on Booking. We were given a very unattractive room with the mattress placed directly on the floor, while most of the pictures advertised modern rooms with proper high beds. Overall, we feel completely misled by the photos and reviews. This hotel was supposed to be part of a special honeymoon trip, and instead it became a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. We absolutely would not recommend staying here.

The hotel is in a perfect location (Shinsekai), it is very close to tourist attractions such as the Tennoji zoo or the Tsutenkaku tower. The staff is super friendly and kind, the hotel also offers free luggage storage if needed.

Everything was clean, comfy bed, all the essentials were provided, and check-in was really easy. The location was perfect for me, and the balcony with a nice view was a great bonus.

Only 1 elevator

Very clean, balcony in the room, all facilities, not sound proof inbetween rooms and also with the corridor, you can hear people next room and when they are in the cooridor

the location was fantastic super convenient to get to a train station and the Osaka tower, would highly recommend the Takoyaki below the tower, The staff were super helpful when I asked for some advice. the toilet and bathroom are a little bit small if your 6ft and 100kgs but still manageable.

The room was larger than most, I was very happy with room.

excellent location, good breakfast, spacious rooms some loud noise from the street below and ambient building noise. might have been better on the opposite side of the building than the side we stayed on!

strategic area

Good breakfast ?

The room is spacious. The whole building is clean, quiet and comfortable. The noise of heat pump. It is too loud to fall asleep.

Location Bathroom was very small and bed was not comfortable at all. The frame was making noise every time we turned while sleeping

Very good location. The bathroom is very small and uncomfortable. And very disappointed with the “breakfast”. There were just a few slices of bread and jelly and some noodles.

We stayed in the Japanese tatami room, which was a refreshing change from the usual modern hotel room. Sleeping on the futon was more comfortable than expected. A big plus was having a balcony with a lovely view of the neighborhood rooftops, and the washing machine out there was a very welcome surprise. The late 11 a.m. checkout time was much appreciated. Breakfast was available as well, although we ended up skipping it. Dotonbori was also within walking distance, which made the location even better. Out of the three hotels we stayed at in Japan, this one had the smallest bathroom and the toilet was a basic one without the typical high-tech features. Overall it did the job for the one night we stayed.

Wonderful location. Clean room, comfortable beds. Nice group bath as well as small one in room. Room is small, but that is the norm in Japan. Breakfast every day was runny sauce made with scrambled eggs and what tasted like melted Velveeta (over rather nice rice). But it was free, so really can’t complain.
