The room was very small and barebones, although I guess for the price it was quite alright.

The building was in a great location, and much bigger (in a good way) than I expected when booking. Our rooms were cozy and the staff was lovely! Honestly, there was not anything we did not like.

Excellent central location—easy walk from the train station, close to transport, dining, shopping, and a 7-Eleven next door Great value for Osaka, with flexible room options including budget-friendly private rooms, shared bath on the floor Well-organized shared floor with fridge, kettle, and complimentary tea/coffee Clean, well-equipped top-floor public bath—very relaxing after a long day, fresh towels daily Helpful staff and a convenient on-site café Could use some updates in fresh paint in the room.

The café was a great start to our mornings on the trip, and ending the night at the public bath was a must.

literally at the train station exit 5. i like the hot bath and cold bath. the room was above average size for japan and bed was comfy. staff was very friendly and professional. location is near to shopping street the toilet and shower are separate. nothing to dislike really

Close to several attractions. Good subway access. Property was clean, nice onsen. Staff were friendly, and eager to help. I called the front desk to ask about turning on the heat in my room. They sent someone immediately. This hotel offers a private bedroom with shared bathroom facilities. Good price for staying in Osaka.

The staff was extremely nice. Breakfast was good. They also have their own café ( which is a little pricey). The café sres is nice to hang out in st sny time of day. There is also a lounge and kichenette on second floor. The laundry area has several machines snd we got to wash and dry in the morning with no issues or wait time. The hotel is right by the Shinsaibashi shopping area and has metro stations nearby. The air conditioning only works as heat or a fan. One night we were a bit warm. The other nights were okay. At night we would sometimes hear a bit of noise (people walking) but it was just once per night, briefly - not the whole night.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The cafe area is very cool. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The Onsen was a plus. The “free drinks” time gives the impression that it’s social and that is alcohol, however it’s mainly tea and coffee. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable, but the staff helped to make it better.

Location is key and Hotel Morning Box is right next to a subway/train station. Perfect walking distance to everything! Peaceful and quiet with wonderful staff!

I was a little reticent going in due to the mixed reviews, but the pictures, price and location were good, so I thought how bad could it be?? This hotel truly exceeded my expectations, and I loved my stay here! The staff were so warm and friendly, the decor and vibe of the whole place felt very modern and fantastic, the free drink service at night was great, i loved my room, and i loved the onsen experience!! All in all, a fabulous time, and I would totally come back again! There were only 2 things to really nitpick about, one was the temperature of the room~ it got freezing cold most nights i was there (i stayed 3 nights), so much so, that i called down to the front desk to try to adjust the temperature no less than 5 or 6 times over the course of my stay.... it didn't really help, and I understand the temperature is controlled for the whole floor, but it was just way too cold, they should have individual temp control in each room like most do. The other thing was, I was a little confused about the free alcoholic drinks~ i think u get one free drink a night, and i asked the front desk about it and the lady told me just one free drink, but the reviews here make it seem like it was unlimited free alcohol or something, so that could be made more clear.

I loved the staff and the little add Ons they had like happy hour and a little history tour of Osaka. Loved that! Didn't like the Onsen upstairs it didn't feel right and could do with a few plants or something to soften it.

Clean and close to Doyonbori and has restaurant inside the hotel I was initially put in 1 bed shared toilet and bath when I reserved private bath and toilet which if I had not insisted would not have been cirrected.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and the free drinks between 4pm-10pm were great (also, the vibe of the cafe/ communal space was really lovely)

I had a wonderful time at hotel morning box! The amenities, pjs, cafe, staff, etc were all amazing! This was my first stop after landing in Japan and I’m so glad I stayed here. It was my first time bathing in a public bath and it ended up being the highlight of my stay. Great location, quick to go north to Umeda as well as south to namba or tennoji. I was a little confused if the cafe was open for drinks in the morning because the free flow menu I was shown at check-in said 16:00-22:00 but there were so many amazing cafes nearby it wasn’t an issue!
