They were nice enough to take our bags. I didn't read that you couldn't check in until 9 PM. Kind of glazed over that which is not their fault. The bed was pretty comfy. That room was just kind of dirty looking. Fluorescent hallways and old elevator. Old disconnected phone chords over the bed and a ripped sofa.

The bath was new Blood in the bath. The room was smoking - this wasn't made clear upon booking. The smell was awful. Bathroom full of black mold. Like, really full of it. The sheets were stained and the bed VERY dusty on the edges. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Even if it is a love hotel, politeness should not be optional. Trust the reviews, do NOT stay here.

Comfortable bed. Smoking allowed. Basic Japanese hotel amenities. Staying here was one of the only times I've felt unsafe in Japan. You are not provided a key to your room, instead you have to call the front desk hostess to have your door open or locked when you leave. That's right, you are locked in your room. The hostess would remind me of the checkout time every single time I spoke with her to get in or out of my room. They were so sketchy that I left my luggage in a coin locker for the night as I did not trust the staff. Crevices in the room seemed like they had never been cleaned in years. I couldn't see myself in the stained mirror in the bathroom.
