Historic property with a true boutique feeling

The location was nice. My room was also nice, tho there wasn't a robe provided as stated in my reservation. The cleaning ladies and breakfast attendants were very nice and accommodating!! The lady running the place has zero personality. She didn't acknowledge us in the mornings, just walk right past us as we were having breakfast..after breakfast she left the building. Noone was there to get any kind of service until the next morning. The bar was never open inside and the rooftop bar wasn't even in operation mode.. The pool was tiny, dirty and cold.. I sent my laundry and was told it would ready in 24 hours. It took 48 hours and some were still wet.

Large, beautiful suites with a beautiful rooftop. Ample free parking along the water without having to drive through the city. N/a

The pool was closed, which we weren’t informed about.

The breakfast was incredible. It was displayed beautifully with many options. Everything tasted very fresh. The property was well designed and was great for a small group to each have their own room, but common areas to hang out, especially on the roof with the pool and amazing views of the water. There was nobody there during check in, which slowed us down a little, but nothing too bad. Keys were left out and we were able to find them relatively quickly. AC in the lobby/common area would have made it a little nicer to hang out there, but the courtyard was very nice as well. There was construction going on nearby, which started at 7am, but we were generally up then anyways, so not a big deal.

Location right on the harbor. Interesting neighborhood -- not too touristy. Beautiful building and decor -- love the combination of old and new. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast -- especially good chocolate cake and a beautiful spread of fruit. There's no electrical outlet near the bed to charge phone. Pillows are too chunky/springy. Jacuzzi wasn't heated: it would be nice if it was heated as the temperature at night goes down into the 50's when I stayed there and in May.

It is a beautiful restored house with 11 bedrooms. I really loved the rooftop terrace. You did not feel like you were staying in a hotel the facilities such as the sitting room, courtyard were beautiful spaces to have a coffee read a book. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety and the coffee was excellent. Nothing . One thing we found strange was the beautiful bar but never any staff at the bar to get a drink. It would have been lovely to see the sunset on the roof terrace with a cocktail from the bar.

Big space Our room was humid, dark, and felt like a cave, with a ceiling made of rocks. The furniture was old and small—clearly designed for petite people. We are 1.80m tall and struggled to feel comfortable. There is no service at the hotel in the afternoon or at night. It’s a lonely, sad place despite the nice, large bar. The breakfast is nothing special—rather low quality, with sugary juices (multivitamin and apple) and lots of cheap pastries that aren’t particularly tasty. The service is passive and not very welcoming. In my opinion, the price is too high for a hotel rated 9. P.S. Parking is difficult and risky. Palermo is known to be dangerous. Be prepared to give some coins to the strange men on the street who “look after” the cars.

A great place to stay! You may feel like an aristocrat for the moment. The furniture and decorations in the dyning room are like from Villa of palermian elite. In room you will find everything you need. Hotel has a cossy patio, and terrace with swimming pool with stunning view on the sea and mountains sorrunding the city. The staff is professional and allways willing to help. If you need an information about the city or events or you would need a private tour, you will get it. Dellucious breakfasts they serve. Perfect location within walking distance to almost all citys attractions, and close to the sea. Notice that, there is a quite bussy street between the hotel and the sea. Sometimes a bit noisy, but remember, you are in southern Italy :). On the doorstep you will find a restaurant wich is a good option if you do not wan to wander searching for dinner. A lot of caffes and restaurants near by. Small tip, be patient and wait a bit for the hot water in the shower. Hotel is located in old building and the hot water needs sometimes more time to find you :)

Breakfest was good Everything was good

Breakfast was delicious! The shower wasn’t great. We couldn’t get the right temperature. I wish the pool was heated or there was a bath in the room.
-
The location is extremely convenient, walking distance from the major attractions. The building is very nicely renovated with great cure of all details. Highly recommended, next time I’ll try and stay in the rooms in the main building.
