Location was very good. The receptionists were polite and helpful Most of the things in the room were outdated

Breakfast was simple but very good - eggs, bacon/sausage (alternated over two days), French toast, biscuits, make-your-own-waffles (very good!), and choices of fruits, cereals, yogurt, etc. Location was immediately across the street from city hall and 1 block from Reading Terminal Market. Perfect Fitness center could use more stationary bikes. The one Peloton required petal clips so could not be ridden with regular shoes. The other bike was a recumbent which is OK for some but not my preference.

The shower was a mess! They have the euro hand held but it could not be positioned to have a normal shower. The water went all over the floor. I had to face it towards the back wall of the shower and lean against the wall to rinse my hair. They have an odd shower wall (instead of a curtain) that only goes 1/2 way across the tub and does not keep water in! The front desk said it was a common complaint.

The location is excellent. Very close to important historical sites. The breakfast was good. The room cleaning was infrequent

If you have business at City Hall, or plan on visiting City Hall for any reason, the location of this hotel is perfect. If you have a car and plan on using valet parking, note that it is pricey, as in any downtown area of a major city. The only "meh" aspect of my stay was breakfast. There was fresh fruit, but the quality of the other food was no better than far less expensive hotels - the same quality (read lack of quality) of turkey sausage used by Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn.
