River Bend Inn

Con’s: The only con is the breakfast and I’m pretty easy to please. The eggs were fake, the sausage was greasy, and the gravy was runny. Only loaves of white bread to toast. It would be nice if they had a waffle maker like most hotels do that offer breakfast. Also bagels with cream cheese and English muffins with peanut butter would have been another alternative giving some protein in the morning. I know it is complimentary but these are basic in almost every hotel I r stayed. We would stay again. I hope the comments of myself and others will help them improve breakfast.

Places is clean, only thing I'm problem with the breakfast, Miss disgusting gravy water out dry biscuits much orange juice water out made husband sick got back to room , didn't used the pools, maybe need games room for young people ,I'm did like the hotel itself

If I’m by myself for a work trip though, it will do for the price.

Con: Floor in room was very dirty. We had to wash feet before going to bed. The room was not very well maintained had a dirty night stand and broken light fixture next to bed. Had free breakfast which included: three kinds of cereal, yogurt, mini muffins, toast, biscuits and gravy (did not try those), sausage patties and eggs - that were not real eggs (ick), bananas, juices, and coffee. Covered parking available which is nice. Had rocking chairs overlooking creek. It was quiet, did not hear noise from other rooms. If traffic noise is a concern, request a room on the back side. If you get a good price and the only thing you care about is sleeping and taking a shower ...This is for you. If you are a hotel snob, this is not the place to stay.

Overall the hotel is one of the best in the area. In my opinion, it holds one of the best with respect to price, location, parking and room size and cleanliness. However, the management needs to reconsider improving the breakfast offer. The food was not up to standards and, coffee was much below normal.

Clean. The rockers by the river was a great touch. Decent breakfast. Did not honor 10% AAA discount, said I already got discount from Expedia.

I've stayed here before and will continue to stay her in the future. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was good. Nothing fancy but you get a bang for your buck here. The staff is friendly and helpful and that's all I need when I travel.

Close to everything Our room wasn’t clean good. Had a dirty sock in there no shampoo or soap.

Very comfortable bed,location, reasonable price, breakfast was good, indoor pool great when raining, the maid came and cleaned every day took out trash and brought fresh towels, definitely would recommend this hotel. Lacked nothing.
