However there was only one bathroom/shower per floor, which in my opinion is a huge problem. thankfully i didn't have any problem because I travelled in the off-season time.

Location was great. Staff were not very helpful or friendly. Move is out of our room to a room that didn’t have very good ventilation. The breakfast was limited.

It was super clean Staff were not very accommodating, really hot with no fan and mattresses were quite uncomfortable

The shower head was broken.

Just the location The general condition of the property was unacceptable. The bed was dirty, with visible hair, and the sanitary facilities were in an unhygienic state, with multiple suspicious stains. Additionally, there was only one bathroom available for an entire floor of more than 30 guests, which is clearly inadequate and raises serious hygiene concerns. Moreover, the Wi-Fi service, advertised as available and reliable, was effectively unusable, with an extremely low speed of 0.14 Mbps (supported by documented evidence). This directly impacted my ability to work and forced me to incur additional costs for an external internet subscription. Despite reporting these issues to the reception, my concerns were dismissed. The staff acted unprofessionally and questioned the validity of my complaint, even when presented with evidence. Most importantly, the safety conditions within the hostel were entirely unacceptable. During the first night, some clients were using drugs on the balcony , an intoxicated and drug-affected guest was drinking alcohol in the room then vomited in the room, making it impossible to rest, we couldn’t sleep all night long knowing what harm can do . On the second night, the same individual caused severe disturbances (shouting, disorderly behavior) and urinated in the room while asleep. I have photographic evidence of these incidents. At no point was there any effective staff intervention or assistance.

It was a pleasant stay, the room was large and light filled. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. The kitchen was clean. The location was fantastic. The breakfast was a let down, it was really just bread. One slice of protein and one slice of cheese, the rest was bread.

Great location, nice kitchen, OK outdoor patio. Manager comes in to show somebody the room about 10:30 PM at night. Turns on lights are blaring to show the guy how to unlock his locker, talking loud, no care for the people that were sleeping.

Generally good location, fairly clean. No ventilation in the room unless the window was opened. Sleeping with an open window in 0°C weather was unbearable, and the street noise was extremely loud. We had to wake up constantly just to open and close the window. The small heater in the room was ineffective. Breakfast was very poor and minimal. After check-out, we were not allowed to wait even 30 minutes in the hotel's common area while waiting for a taxi. The hotel manager was impatient and unhelpful, something have never experienced in any hotel before. The beds were extremely squeaky. In the shower, there was only a single shared bar of soap for all guests, which felt very unhygienic. Generally- it's very difficult to sleep.

Excellent location, a couple of minutes from the main atractions. Room very big. Breakfast very simple - toasts with jam/nutela, coffee, tea

Location is good Reception was brusk. Breakfast was sparse on choice and heavily guarded. Few bathrooms.

Location is great, right in the center, easy to get around.Rooms have enough space. No bed curtains, no privacy at all, not great if you’re alone in a mixed dorm. Was noisy in the mornings with the kitchen and shower right next door. At night the windows were closed , so the dorm gets stuffy and smells. There is only one shower for the whole floor (10+ people), which means long waits and not a pleasant experience when using while people are waiting. Reception staff weren’t friendly or helpful felt like they didn’t care.

The room is nice and clean, the location is good, close to the major places. Our room is facing the street, many cars passing by during the night, so very noisy. The bath room on the floor, the toilet is broken, the shower door can't be closed. There are molds on the ceiling.... The towels were so old and worned out. Also, we got denied for leaving the luggage for a couple of hours after check out.

Locked cubby under bed for luggage! Central location and it has a key fob for security. Does not have baggage holding and very hot.

So central, everything I needed, nothing more nothing less, which is just what I like. The breakfast was a little bit less than I thought it would be, but my experience has taught me that it is a normal Portuguese breakfast. Still, it was adequate to get the day rolling. Also, sometimes the Wi-Fi was buggy.

Location was great We were put in a top floor space with one ceiling window. It was very hot and stuffy until much later in the night when the outside temperature dropped. Also, we were three tall Americans and the ceiling sloped so that we had to hunker down to move around

I love the location! Super good, the room was great , storage big and perfect for the bag. Very nice bed, I sleep pretty well! And very very clean ! The breakfast was great too, I think the only thing was: there was no storage for bags before the check in or after the check out. I think the fridge could be more organized in the sense of: the guests could write their own names and date of check in and check out.

I like the facilities and the fact that it had breakfast included I believe that extending the checkout until 12 am or 1 pm would be usefull

I booked it at the last minute because I had an issue with the one I booked in the first place. Location was central and the staff was helpful. It was very clean and even though it was a shared bathroom there were many in each floor so it was fine, I never needed to wait. Don't expect too much from breakfast. Whenever a vehicle passes through the street the building vibrates like an earthquake. On the first one I was shocked and panicked then I realized. It is not good when you came from a country that experiences many earthquakes

what i didnt like was the bedding, wasnt so comfortable and the blanket was a bit itching.
