Overall, the hotel was far too big, and there was simply too much going on. The themed restaurants were especially disappointing and did not meet our expectations. The buffet was by far the best option, although you had to go early to find something good. If you arrived later, there were long queues and it became difficult to enjoy the experience. The beach was also disappointing because it was full of seaweed. On top of that, there were so many guests for the staff to handle that the service never felt personal. Unfortunately, we spent more time at reception making complaints and trying to solve problems than actually enjoying the hotel and the property. Overall, it was not the experience we expected, and we left feeling quite disappointed. The worst part of the experience was definitely the themed restaurants. It was extremely difficult to get a reservation, and after going through all that effort, the experience was a complete disappointment. The food was really, really bad. The quality was far below what we expected, and honestly, it felt like we wasted an entire evening. Considering how difficult it was to book a reservation, we expected much better food and service. In the end, we would have preferred to stay at the buffet, which was actually the best dining option in the hotel.

Maintained very nicely and it’s huge property with lot of resorts in one roof. All inclusive included breakfast lunch and dinner with good food and lot of options for all guests especially for meat lovers. Veggie options are limited , but can expect more from them. Coffee stations are all once the lobby and buffet that was / very good idea.Buggy train runs all over the entire resort picking and dropping guests to their rooms , beaches and restaurants . Had a very good time and especially kids would love this place with water pools all over the resorts Small suggestion - Our place didn’t have a Kids water park , I think they should think over that part and make sure kids can be allowed and use the water park . Bahía Príncipe ticket holders didn’t have kids water park and couldn’t enter the water park , After paying very good amount for 5 day stay , I THOUGHT KIDS SHOULD DESERVE A WATER PARK .BUT POOLS ARE ALL OVER WITH KIDS FRIENDLY , POOLS ARE NOT DEEP KEEPING CHILDREN IN MIND , BUT WHEN GETS KIND OF BORED AFTER STAYING 5/6 DAYS , THEY WOULD LOVE TO ENTER THE WATER PARK AND HAVE THE FUN WITH WATER SLIDES AND PLUS SEEING LOT OF KIDS GIVES THEM HAPPINESS.

Beach and pools were great, transport buses are a nice touch. 45% of food was good. Lobby Cappuccino was great I noticed Chinese telecom Giant Huawei used at the resort for wifi?? Illegal in the US and currently being thrown out of the EU for spying on citizens and stealing data WTF? Rooms poorly maintained, as if repaired by armatures? No less than 25 mosquitoes in our room throughout the day and night,, lots of bites...did not see any preventative measures like spraying, etc. TV never worked the whole time, Got BS responses, never any communication or followup. I think the TV with my signal has been broken for a year and they know and accept this. No discount offered. Front desk a mess, took 45 minutes + to check in. No training. they did not give adequate info on what services the resort offered Food could be very good at times, but many meal hours were disappointing. Poor cold selections, too much sliced meat, poor salads (more variety was needed) no sugar free drinks to be found anywhere at the Resort??, bar included. Many times hot items, meat etc looked old, fatty with Gristle and bone . It seems they were only cooking for Hispanics, bad attitudes by some service staff, Very little or no supervision, Constantly out of plates and cups, auto-coffee machine spits out garbage, one day all coffee machines were not working, understaffed it seems. Never saw the GM or F&B director. Poor entertainment offered. Cooks slicing cold cuts, no gloves just their hands...enough to get many sick. Luggage and transportation staff not providing licensed Cabs who only wanted cash at the airport. I'm sure they paid off the resort staff. The GM must know this is going on. Oh yes selling Mosquito spray for $30 to $40+ that did not work???? They must know this. I felt scammed most of the time. Property seemed dated to me. I understand Hyatt recently bought a 50% stake. Big mistake. I sent an email to the GM, never got a response...they must be laid back and on island time. Acceptance of mediocrity

So much trouble getting Beach towels, used the same ones for a week.

There were cockroaches at the hotel, including in my room. The food was not fresh, and the selection was very limited. The buffet had exactly the same options all four days with no variety at all. The staff seemed to be in a bad mood and were not helpful. I was also surprised that although the hotel has à la carte restaurants, they only allow one reservation for every three nights — which is disappointing. Even some events at the theater required extra payment. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Everything was A1 - apart from the mosquitos in our room? It was almost unbearable and simply could not get rid of them. Whatever we did. This did put a little bit of a downer on the holiday. There were literally hundreds of squashed mossie bodies all over the walls, where presumably previous guests had had the same experience. The hotel was brilliant though and the staff were absolutely great - an overall very good holiday

To many mosquitoes, ? they do t spay we didn’t enjoy outside night activities because of the crazy bits , too many bugs . The main buffet smells like poop They have to Spray and clean !

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

The staff was pleasant and accommodating (except the main buffet near the check in). The room I booked was NOT the room given to me. They originally set me up in a room that was dirty, had bugs and an ac that didn't work. The hotel had me pay MORE just to get the room I originally booked on this app.

The bathroom in the room was not very clean rusty tub. Unable to use the beach due to the seaweed and smell. You only get 1 table service per 3 nights. This was an all inclusive resort. The main buffet trsyatsujy has a bad smell. Very limited options to eat especially since there is only one Buffett to get all meals. The other restaurants are dinner service meals that require reservations pwgere you only get 1 per every 3 nights. There is little options for adult entertainment.everything is family oriented but what about the adults that are there to stay. Limited alcohol. Most American drinks are considered premium. Some staff don’t understand English.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

They didn't show around the resort or explain anything the rooms are outdated for the price. Checking in and out staff was rude. The luggage men are more helpful than anyone else. The buffet options were small.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

Some people were really good as always The facility is outdated and in really poor condition, the shower faucet literally fell off, the bathroom ceiling looks like is going to collapse and the whole bathroom needs to be redone, there is no attention anymore, no towels at 5:00 pm on your first day at the hotel is ridiculous, it wasn’t a good experience this time, also the fact that instead of telling you that the hotel you booked at is being renovated, they just put you in the other facility without telling you.

It was a beautiful place new facilities and new type of entertainments from the last time i visited. Always seen the staff cleaning the Pools and grounds. At the restaurant the Truck the food was cold and forget some of what you ordered. No utensils is more like a self serve .Staff don’t really pay attention to clients. Rooms should include a bathroom mat, Mop to clean up the spills from when you came in wet from the Pool or rain. There should also be a plunger in case of bathroom mishaps.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

    Well maintained.

  • Engine customer Jul 2025

Room was nice. The food was borderline dogfood. The staff don't speak any English and the 2 % do are rude as well. Simple drinks can't or won't make and act like you're inconveniencing them. Come to find we could only eat at 3 restaurants for the whole week the rest was Buffet slop. Quantity over quality do not stay here Hard Rock was far better staff and food. This was our 3rd trip to Punta Cana and the worst all inclusive we've have ever been to.

  • Engine customer May 2025

How spacious and diverse was! THE FOOD AND DRINKS WERE AMAZING!!! The frozen margarita was top notch!! The staff were so nice (shout out to Guillermo who helped us with our bags, 10/10!!!) I know its difficult to control but there were way too many mosquitoes, in the rooms on the first floor, in the buffet and the lobby, we even had to change rooms because our kids are allergic to mosquitoes bites. Also, I know they are going through renovations, but there were areas with paint peeling off, the tables at the buffet not in their best shape, etc
