Staff were always nice. Rooms are extremely well appointed - staff will enter multiple times to make sure everything in the room is gorgeous. I was travelling with someone and requested close proximity rooms. We could not have been placed further apart. Ironically, while I was paying for both rooms, and did get the larger room, the other traveller got the room with a view on level three and I was street level with a hedge view. No view……

The setting is simply stunning. Waking up to views of Lake Wakatipu and the snow-covered mountains felt magical, and the hotel’s warm, beautifully considered interiors made it especially inviting after a day out in the cold. Our room was spacious, immaculate and exceptionally comfortable, with thoughtful details that made the entire stay feel special. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every member of the team was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, whether we needed help planning our day, arranging transport or choosing somewhere for dinner. The hospitality was polished without being formal, which made us feel completely at home. The coffee could have been stronger but that's a minor thing :-)

everything was a 12/10 the staff, the facilities, the rooms! I never rate a hotel or anything in general but gosh this was the best stay we've ever experienced. We were on our honey moon and stay at 7 different hotels and this exceeded all of them!
