The lake facing rooms are quite cold and the hotel is undergoing renovation which is causing some minor disruption
-
The property is luxurious, clean and modern. the staff were friendly, welcoming, always happy to help. family had a great stay.
-
Ultra modern hotel in fantastic location. Friendly helpful & efficient staff. Very clean.
-
Hotel was close walk to the main town Comfy room with awesome view of the lake Friendly staff- thank you Bruno for going above and beyond Area by the reception that served drinks and treats was great. Also the treats in the room were fantastic Bar on level 6 had a good vibe Great space for conference Getting up to the higher levels was confusing (hotel was still being renovated)
-
Confusing instructions between hotel and staff. Shower has low water pressure. Mixer was not functioning properly, resulting in sudden cold water in middle of shower (and that's during winter)!. Hotel is under renovation which can result in noises.

The rooms were terrific and loved the whole feel of the hotel. I really enjoyed the daily juice, pastry, wine and cheese. It added a very nice touch. The parking is problematic. It states they have parking but they were always full. The answer to staff was just go find something on the street... It took 45 minutes and we almost got stuck in a ditch. My husband who travels all the time and never gets angry was very frustrated. Also, there was construction happening and it began very early in the morning. Unfortunately our room was very close to the work.

Room had a amazing view, it was a good size, bed was comfortable and it even had a doona insert that was in it's cover, not just folded between the sheets! Bathroom and shower are one of the best we have stayed in, it was roomy and had lots of places to store your belongings. It was a really great location, nice and quiet for a good night sleep yet close enough to walk to the QT wharf. That is all a 10 in itself!....but wait there is more. All the little extra's, the surprises that made our stay absolutely awesome. In the lobby, they have complimentary FRESH brekky juice and pastries in the morning, cheese, crackers and wine in the afternoon and whiskey and chocolate after dinner. Room service delivers something extra and complimentary every night, from sweet treats, to fresh milk and melty chocolates to lavender sprays for your pillows. It was genuinely a wonderful stay and we will certainly only ever be staying here for our future stays in Queenstown. Couldn't get any better!

The hospitality was unlike anything we have ever experienced! The lobby beverages and snacks were much appreciated and the turn down service was exceptional The was nothing we didn’t like

Excellent staff at the reception desk Renovations that were ongoing
-
The breakfast every morning was exceptional as the young men at the omelet station made some of the best omelets that I have ever eaten! The room was very clean and well organized! I can't think of anything negative about my stay at the QT Queenstwon!
-
Excellent location close to restaurants and other amenities. And views were great
-
As others have mentioned, it is a very short walk into the center, but a steep uphill on the return.

Hotel room was well appointed, but strangely didnt have a clock. Staff were all great . Shuttle to and from arrowtown and the airport fantastic as were all of the drivers. Views from the restaurant was fantastic. Options limited. Went to the hotel on a recommendation. Supposedly a4 1/2 star rated hotel. On arrival , we were informed , after being dropped off up a rather large hill that the lift that goes to ground level is not operating due to renovations. Then the room had a view of a wall and the road. Possibly my fault was told all rooms had a view of the lake. Went to have a look at the facilities. 1; no fitness centre. 2; Bar closed due to renovations 3; no pool or steam room , closed due to renovations 4 ; The only venue available to sit , have a drink and eat was the restaurant, unfortunately 1 of the 2 night we wanted to eat there it was closed due to a private function.

sizable room, clean bathroom Bed is not firm enough, no chest of drawers to put t-shirts, socks etc. Also it would have been great if there is a guest lounge with good views that friends can chat and relax in.

Did not match the description Be aware, booking advertising is misleading. It probably was a nice property back in days it was built, but not anymore. Rooms are old and outdated. It’s ok for 3 star hotel but not when it’s presented as a 5 star. 90% of the property closed for renovations. So you can’t even have an access from the lake. It’s 10 minute hike to get to the back side of the property where they have few rooms which are operational. NO LAKE VIEW IS GUARANTEED. The never said that, all the rooms photos show the lake view rooms only. THERE IS NO FREE PARKING. Parking is $35NZD. Another false advertising. There are lots more better options in town for that price. Do not fall for old good reviews like I did. Those are no longer applicable!!!

View, room size, staff Parking was difficult

We stayed over christmas and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special stay with surprise xmas day bubbly delivered to the room and snacks at reception each afternoon. The bed was also super comfy.

The Lake View is very good. There is no any electric kettle, so we can’t drink any tea here. And there is no toothbrush provided which made us feel we were in a motel, but not in a 5-start & very expensive hotel.
