Super 8 by Wyndham Chicago/Rosemont/O'Hare/SE

What I liked the most was the hospitality that was shown by the staff. The greeting was beautiful and every morning I was asked, how well did I sleep. D.M. is an extraordinary individual. He greeted the guest by name, was polite and attentive to everyone. I was very impressed on how well he knew the guest. We had great conversations every morning. Thank you all for the seven days I stayed there.

We appreciate the welcome we received after making a last minute booking.

This hotel was awful if you were giving a 5-star rating one is not low enough. Upon arrival parking lot was dirty. Looked like a homeless encampment across the street. There was a group of people standing outside smoking we don't smoke. It was filling up parking lot with smells of weed etc. there were no parking spots had we stayed there we would have to stayed across the street with our car and a parking lot that was suspicious at best. We stepped on two roaches walking into the facility. The gentleman the desk was friendly enough however not very good english. Or pretended to not have English and oh I can't understand you I can't refund you no no is what he kept saying. Upon requesting a refund we had to go through expedia. They have now told us that the management did not get back to them therefore they can't give us a refund and they're basically giving us a $25 credit for our problems. I do not recommend this property it was supposed to be an inside motel but was an outside hotel. It was just in the middle an awful, awful place. And the fact that we were not satisfied and explain it to hotel management the person who's on duty and Expedia and we're not getting a refund that's just not acceptable. We've stayed in some knots okay places before and I'm not had a problem and paid. However this place was just not right. My guess is had we stayed there we would have probably been infested with bed bugs. That is exactly what this hotel looked like. Stay away!

The bathmat was dirty. The safety lock on the door was broken off. There was a deadbolt luckily. If I have to stay around here again, I would definitely pay extra to stay somewhere else.

Reserved three weeks in advance for a three-night stay. When we arrived at approximately 9:30 p.m., we were offered what we were told was the last available room. The room was not renovated and, in my opinion, was not representative of what was shown online. After discovering that the sheets were stained, we returned to the front desk and decided not to stay at the property. We were very disappointed with the condition and cleanliness of the room and with how the situation was handled. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.

As soon as I pulled in the parking lot I was approached by a man asking how long we were staying. My daughter recorded him and he pointed out that he was be recorded and he didn’t like that. I told the front desk and he either didn’t understand or didn’t care. The room didn’t get cleaned during our weekend stay. Our feet were black, which I have pictures of. There was no lock on the front door and the phone didn’t work.
