The owner was so helpful, met us outside, helped us add an extra night and also gave us a spare set of keys. The air conditioning worked great. You can be at Termini in 1 minute. The stairs up in the apartment are a little dirty and the light flickered.

Close to he train station We walked for three hours trying to find the place. In the beginning we were in the lobby only because someone who lived there let us in. We called and she didn’t answer. It wasn’t even marked on the outside that this was the location so we continued to search. Finally we went on booking.com and she came to the train station to get us.

The room itself was clean. No signage on the building. Even surrounding businesses could not identify the Iris house. No WiFi and the garbage bins were outside our room which created a lot of bugs flying around inside and outside of room.

Iris House is located quite close to Termini which is perfect for me as I fly in and out of Rome on most of my trips. After traveling around Italy, Iris Guest House was a pleasant place to stay prior to my return trip. The room is comfortable and well appointed. The communal refrigerator was convenient for storing food and drinks for my stay. Located just 1 block away from Termini, it would be suitable for a longer stay as you can reach any place in Rome quickly via the Metro. Shops, markets and restaurants are very close! The host was gracious and kind. I appreciated the kind attention and I am looking forward to my return trip!

The host was super nice. The location is great being right next to the train station. Overall, a wonderful stay. The building was ugly and there was no sign on the outside of the building to let us know we were inside.

Room was nice, little bit smaller but completely fine. Beds were comfortable. We liked that our baggage was kept after checking out. Location was good and close to the all important landmarks and with great connection via public transport. Our towels were changed and sheets made, so that was great. Also, host is great with acomodating late check-in. Overall all the recommendations for affordable and nice acomodation for a few days. Building was little dirty and smelly but not the acomodation. Also few surrounding streets were not so safe is someone is traveling alone. Not all other guests were leaving the doors locked all the time so that should be checked by the hoste regularly.

The room was decent and fairly clean, with a fantastic location close to the train station and restaurants. Clear instructions from the owner via WhatsApp made check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was located in an apartment building that wasn’t entirely clean and showed signs of needing maintenance. At times, the entrance felt a bit uncomfortable due to questionable individuals nearby. Additionally, the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first night, though we were moved to another room where everything was fine in the end.

The hostess was amazing and very accommodating, especially with our late arrival. The property is very close to the railway station and the bus station to the airport. The property was OK in general but it is just a room with the bathroom in the flat in the typical multi story house in Rome. So, expect to see the dirty stairs with the rubbish bins inside the building and very noisy neighbourhood. There was mould in the bathroom and the sink drain was clogged.

Extremely convenient location to Roma Termini (less than two blocks), flexibility of check-in and check-out, friendliness of the staff, every-two-days change of towels and beddings, general cleanness The shower head with heavily built up fungi, too few hooks for hanging clothes, necessary addition of rolling storage drawers inside a small space
