A/C. The property has A/C, which is very helpful during our summer stay. The bathroom is a little small compared to my size.

Excellent location near train/bus/metro station Termini. Wonderful host and plentiful breakfast. Bathroom very compact (1person)

La Girandola is a property that makes you wish Booking allowed for scores higher than 10/10. It is an exceptional place in terms of comfort and care to the customer. Lorenzo is a phenomenal host - providing great and personal service that made this a truly exceptional stay. The location is perfect for exploring Rome with a variety of transport options around, and perfect connection to the airport. Being near the main station, it is chaotic but safe place. The room is sufficiently spacious, with good storage and amenities. The windows provide full sound insulation from the busy streets nearby while AC unit keeps everything nice and chilly for good sleeping. Nothing

Perfect stay: comfortable, convenient, clean, and friendly. It's really a bed and breakfast, rather than a hotel. Note the checkin time, which is different than in most accommodations.

My wife and I stayed at La Girandola Bed & Breakfast in Rome for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was incredibly convenient, especially being just a short walk from the train station, which made traveling around Rome and getting to and from the city very easy. The room was comfortable, quiet and well maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. Lorenzo, the owner, was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations or any questions we had. His hospitality truly made us feel at home. Overall, we would highly recommend La Girandola to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay in Rome. At first, the outside appearance of the building was a little off-putting, but once inside, the apartment itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but it was spotless and well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay at La Girandola Bed and Breakfast! It was our first visit to Rome and we found La Girandola very clean, updated, conveniently located 1 block from the train terminal making transportation easy, and our innkeeper, Lorenzo, couldn't have been nicer, more helpful or more accommodating. Our breakfasts each morning were amazing - large and delicious! We would definitely return.

Breakfast and location Some noise

The central location was great! It was a block from the main train station with the Metro and main city bus lines there also. The breakfasts were great and huge. Often we skipped a lunch as we were still full. Lorenzo our host who is also the owner adds greatly to the experience. His upbeat and genuine personality makes you feel like a friend not a just another traveller. The loud street noise on 2 of our 4 mights from people arguing. Perhaps the local police could beef up their patrols.

Very clean and comfortable, most gracious and helpful host. Convenient location a short walk from Termini station. Not the quietest neighborhood at night.

The breakfast was very good with freshly baked bread both sweet and savory.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable; very nice and helpful staff. Warm cornettos, juice and espresso in the mornings. Location was perfect---you can easily walk to it from the train station, even with baggage. Would happily stay there again. Nothing. It was a very nice place to stay, and the price was great.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay. The room was spacious and the location was very convenient, a stone’s throw from the train station. We had a completely private and undisturbed stay while we were in our room. Lorenzo was very friendly and welcoming. He left a bottle of wine in our room which we greatly enjoyed. For breakfast he made us a great cappuccino and offered pastries, fruit, and yogurt. Breakfast time starts at 8 am. When we informed Lorenzo that we would leave earlier than that on 2 mornings, Lorenzo left a bag with breakfast food in our room the day before. Unfortunately, there was no way to make coffee in our room. Only green tea packets were provided, however, we do not drink green tea. Lorenzo is very responsive, and he stated that he would have bought instant coffee for us if we had reached out to him earlier. Basic bathroom toiletries included little shampoo & shower gel packets as well as a bar of soap. If you use hair conditioner and body lotion, bring your own. The room has good A/C and you can adjust the temperature. When we returned to our room at the end of each day, we noticed that the A/C had been shut off. This was probably done to save energy, but the room was pretty uncomfortable until we ran the A/C for a while after returning.

Can’t complain really

Lorenzo was so friendly and nice! We almost missed the window for check-in (ends at 15:30 so be careful!), but Lorenzo stayed a bit longer and was very welcoming once we got there
