Nights In Rome

The property was very conveniently located across the street from the train terminal, just a five minute walk. Like many other places to stay, there was plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. The room is on the fifth floor, and when you come down the elevator and exit to the street, there is a restaurant six feet from the door. There are also three right across the street; two offering breakfast and one breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a taxi stand adjacent to the breakfast restaurant. The hosts were very pleasant and communicative when any issues arrived, and expedient in resolution. With our twelve day stay we hoped there would be a washer and dryer, but there wasn’t. It wasn’t a huge deal because there was a laundromat about a ten minute walk away. We had four people in our party, including an 18 year-old, so we had plenty of laundry! The laundromat washed, dried and folded our huge load for 30 euros.

Fabulous location rite next to train and bus station. Very secure. Restaurants all around including in the train station. Outside patio and good breakfast food. Everything was great!

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was small but immaculately clean. Bed was comfortable. Terrace seating with tables and chairs were a nice touch. Location across street from Rome Central Station was convenient. Neighborhood is central and it’s easy to access major tourist sites. On booking did not realize that the only window was a rooftop skylight so it felt claustrophobic. Building where the rooms were located housed several B&Bs. Elevator was tiny and there was only one which limited occupants to 3. Thus, there were numerous times when we had to queue to get on the elevator to our 5th floor accommodations. That was annoying.

The location was perfect. It's walking distance to the train, the bus station, to the Merkato Centrale and most of the activities we engaged in. Umbrellas were available in case of rain, we had a fridge with yogurt, milk. I enjoyed the tea kettle and there was a milk frothier available. Andrea provided us a map with tips on visiting sites, bus information and distance guidance. I can't really point anything. All was great for our needs. It's an older building so maybe it's not a lit as we would have preferred but the building is nice and clean, has stairs and elevator so all was good.

Nights in Rome is perfectly located just a few minutes from Termini station and within walking distance of many major attractions. The hotel is run by a lovely family — very kind, helpful, and always available. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the historic building gives a real Roman atmosphere. Even the occasionally quirky elevator felt like part of the charm. A great stay overall!

This is an absolute awesome place to stay. It is so convenient to the Rome Train station with a four minute walk. The owners were corresponding with us frequently prior to our arrival on how to get into the building. We had no issue getting into the building and using the elevator. We were met by the owners and had no problem checking in. Andrea told us where the best sights were, the best restaurant to go to, market, areas to avoid due to some of the inhabitants, and was an absolute wealth of knowledge. The entire area, rooms & lobby, were extremely clean and the staff were always cleaning. They were accommodating to the hour you needed the room cleaned if you were leaving early or later in the morning. The building is old but there were no issues. The terrace area was quiet and relaxing to enjoy a Birra Moretti or a glass of wine. Simona even called the hotel in Fiumicino (our next stop) for us to make sure of the time we could check in. She told us about the SIT bus that travels to Fiumicino square which was close to where we were staying. We stayed 5 days and 4 nights at Nights in Rome with no complaints. We will definitely be staying again with them. Ciao!

The bedroom style looks like a cabin and it’s so pretty and comfy, we loved to stay there. It was also walk distance from the station and has an amazing bakery right in front of it. The owner of the hotel also filled the room with yummy snacks for a good breakfast

The host was truly supportive, very hospitable, and had excellent communication. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. They also prepared a generous breakfast with lots of options — it felt very homely. The location was perfect, close to the train station and other attractions. Everything was just great! When booking for my partner and myself, the only room available was two single beds. I spoke with someone on WhatsApp both phone and texting, and was assured that the beds could be pushed together, and that we could do an early check-in since our train was arriving a little before our scheduled check-in. When we arrived we found out that not only was the room not ready (it needed an hour and we had a scheduled place to be before then), but the beds could not possibly be pushed together. This was frustrating because I specifically went out of my way to double check these things ahead of time. When we arrived we were expecting a hotel with a desk and were a bit confused when we walked into what looked like an apartment building and no people/staff around. It took a while of communication to figure out where to go. Lastly, the room had a horrible smell when we arrived, and we could tell it was coming from the bathroom. We kept the bathroom window open with the door to the bedroom shut to air it out, but it did not help and we were stuck in a horrible smell for the two days we were here. Besides these issues, the location was good and the staff was nice.

The Hotel is 3minutes walk from Roma Termini station, where there are excellent restaurants and historical buildings in just a couple of minutes walk. Simona, is an excellent host. She and her staff showed us the best walking routes, buses and underground to maximize our time there, which helped us to fit in plenty of sight seeing. Internet is also fast and uninterrupted, which also helped me carrying some online work from the property without problems.

Breakfast wasn’t a full meal only served snack . Lactation is good close to the termini train station. 5 minutes walk to the hotel . Which is really convenient . Language barrier.

The rooms are on the 5th floor, but the ascensor is very small and goes up only to the 4th floor. This was the only inconvenience, because I went with my old mother and sister, who have a problem with stares.

Exceptional

Room allocated was more than adequate for 3 adults Elevator broke down the day we arrived. It took 3 days to repair. Being a 74 yr old it was a feat climbing 5 floors. I ended up with bruised pelvis muscle that impeded my walking and climbing stairs. Needs to be looked into. Moreover, we experienced damage in the water plumbing system that affected other residents' rooms. Owners took immediate action that same late evening. Repaired within less that 2 days. Such incidents do happen, but still, it's frustrating resulting in physical pain. Great experience were it not for unpredictable inconvenience relating to mentioned damages. The management acted immediately to reported damages even if late in the evening. Repairs were subject to third parties availability. Staff were helpful, most accessible and empathizing throughout.

Only the location is nice. Close to Termini. Staffs are hardworking but very unprofessional. Good if you consider it as a transit hotel and staying not more than one night. Building is very old and run down. Not fit to be called a hotel. Lift looks rickety and scary and feels the same. Hotel is grossly under staffed with just 2 ladies working in shifts to manage the hotel. They also will not stay beyond 1 pm. So you have to vacate your room and they literally force you to do that so they can go home. If you are planning on going to Rome to relax than this is not definitely the place. The breakfast provided is horrible to say the least. It is the same breakfast everyday and it consisted of one cornetto per head and that to procured from a supermarket, a small packet of milk and one small yogurt. Imagine having this same breakfast everyday. When we requested for some fresh fruits , it was flatly denied. Bed linens and towels were not changed daily. Told that it will be changed once in three days. I wonder how booking. com has allowed them to be listed as hotel on their portal.
