Hotel El Dorado

La ubicación es relativamente buena, cerca à la playa. El mantenimiento general del hotel es deficiente. Se nota que hace tiempo no cuenta con ninguna renovación y eso desvaloriA considerablemente la propiedad. Éste no es un rasgo privativo de este hotel; es una característica generalizada en la isla. La alimentación tampoco estuvo a la altura del precio. Poca variedad y calidad media de la comida en general. Pocas actividades de entretenimiento diurno y nocturno le restaron también valor a la propuesta.

The location is great, and the lobby is pleasant. The bell staff were very friendly. I booked an ocean view room with 1 queen bed. The room we were given was on a low floor in the old section of the hotel. There was barely an ocean view, and there were 3 beds in the room with very little room to move around. The room was in a terrible state and needed many repairs. The wallpaper was peeling, outlets were hanging from the wall, there was little in the way of furnishings or finish, and there was no drinkable water in the room. It was an awful first night.

Bar and restaurant staff they have bad customer service

The room has excellent views of the beach and you can see the sunrise, has a little balcony where you can sit and enjoy the views. The beach was across the street (which is pedestrian only) and have plenty of options to eat or drink, nevertheless the food and drinks (and snacks) at the hotel restaurant were good enough so we had very few cravings to eat out. Eventhough the windows has noise insulation, you could hear some of the party on the street. Because of staying in the "newest" part of the hotel, wifi service was not available in the room, it was available on the public areas only (lobby, restaurant)

The tower where we stayed, is obviously new and didn't have soap or shampoo dispenser. After asking, they gave us bottles of body wash! The food was awful,, the only saving grace was the day, they served fried fish, other than that it was not worth it. The service from the restaurant's help was bad,, bad,, they were only two older ladies who seemed to care. The one older lady making the omelets or eggs and the other older lady at the entrance of the restaurant. The rest of the staff needs to be re- trained or fired. There were just bullshit among each other and the dishes piling up and they did not pick them up. Ypu had to ask for EVERYTHING. Even if they saw u sitting at a table, if u did not ask for utensils, u had to get them urself And the bar,,, lots of cheap alcohol, and no substance,,, like just to get you drunk and be done with u. The surrounding areas of the hotel are in deplorable conditions, with open sewers, smelly and disgusting environmental issues,,, a real health risk. Needles to say... not a goid trip,,, not the island,,,, not the hotel. We can do better and for less money in DR or Mexico!!!!

Perfectly Location right on the beach Close to everything shopping and restaurants. There is live shows every night all meals and drinks included. Staff is really friendly even though I can’t speak Spanish Highly recommend this property Not a big deal At night the music from the streets are loud with people celebrating dancing having fun stops around 2am is all i can say no biggie

The beach was very near. The breakfast was OK. All food and most drinks were included in the price No internet/wifi. The food was buffet and was therefore just about OK. This is not a cheap San Andres Hotel but there was no value for money for sure

the location The hotel never has hot water for bathing, there was very little variety of food in the buffet, some of the stuff was unpleasant to serve.

Maybe is necessary a dry machine on the room and check the soap for the bathroom due to in this case it was run out

the view was spectacular and central to all of the activity. this hotel is very old, not clean, food mediocre. way overpriced.

Well located, in front of the beach; friendly staff. This a motel with a hotel name. Old, terrible facilities ready to be demolished. One cafeteria with pretty basic colombia food
