Price and location was a big plus

Very nice place and centrally located. The interiors of the rooms looked to be recently remodeled, and the work was done in an attractive, elegant way.

It was convenient to the locations we need to be at. It was extremely run down. Items in room were broken. There was not control over the individuals attending there that were making a lot of noise. Rooms not being cleaned, items broken, no extra items i .e. pillows, ac worked half way was leaking, there was a hole in wall my infant found, also my infant couldn’t walk on floor it was so dirty.

Great place to stay

The location was great for what I needed, an easy walk to friends and to plenty of food and things to see in the area. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the AC worked beautifully in mid-August, which I did not take for granted. I felt safe the entire stay. Worth knowing that this is more motel than hotel, with the room doors opening directly onto an exterior breezeway. That's not something I'd normally book, so I'd have liked that to be more obvious up front. Beyond the surprise, I had no actual complaints.

The staff was very friendly. The two gentleman that helped us check in and out were fast and diligent. The housekeeper was also very sweet and personable.

Great spot near the freeway and downtown San Diego.

The room was filthy, Alex the person that checks you in was absolutely rude. We found a cockroach in our room. We had to leave the room in the middle of the night. felt completely uncomfortable and unsafe to stay in a dirty, infested room and hotel.

Not too far from the zoo and Petco Park is a walkable distance away.
