If you want friends or family to have easy access to your hotel, that will not be as easy - the front door is locked so the hotel staff must unlock the door for you and your people.

I liked that there a 24 hour desk person who held onto your keys whenever you left, and they would always let you bacj in no matter the time. Also loved the antique items inside of the lobby. Kinda close to a lot of homeless people, but still was a great spot.

Well.....this hotel is very old and has nothing other than a bed and a shower. 3 rooms before I got a TV that worked. Outside is very seedy and I had to ask a neighboring business where the place was. In the absolute worst part of San Francisco. No parking so I parked in a seedy lot around the corner and walked with my roller bag in and out of a couple of hundred people all wacked out on drugs and who knows what else. Absolutely not a safe place to stay!

Liliana and Romeo on the desk were lovely. I thought the hotel had real character. Very quiet and calm. Yes, homeless people outside but they were harmelss (though I am a tall man, so I can't speak for everyone). Sometimes it took a while for the front desk to realise you were trying to get in. Having to leave the key everytime you go out, but no doorbell to alert them they you're trying to get in is an odd setup.

Class as a scholarly idea. Ancient grace for restfulness, cherishable memories and accessable transit base. This is a traditional classic. I hope for success to the owner:

The Aida Hotel is okay. The hotel is old. The carpet in my room was dirty. The crevices along side the room had crumbs under the bed, near the heater, etc. The TV remote did not work, so I had to manually turn the TV on and press the side buttons on the widescreen to change channels. To access to the lobby you have to wait thirty seconds for the staff to open the locked front door and then hand you the key. There were several occasions where I was standing for ten minutes outside from the cold until the male staff member would finally come to the door. So if you are in a hurry, chances are you can be further delayed. The personnel at the front desk don’t greet me and say hello or good morning. At times, it gets really impersonal. There was a point for a period of three days where I used the same towels and my bed was not made. You call yourself a hotel? Given that the hotel is located on the corner of 7th Street and Market Street, you do have your share of street characters, some are more vocally expressive than others. Yes there are cop cars visible on a daily basis during the day and evenings.

Basically at the middle of the downtown perfect place to go to Embarcadero north or South Mission St. I’ll be back for sure
