Motel 6 San Francisco, CA - Fisherman's Wharf

Really dirty location, from the parking lot to the door entrance. Took about a week for them to release my deposit.

The parking was horrible and the room is so small and it was really dirty. I walked on the floors bare foot and my feet where black. It took a while for the room to get cold. They over charge for this motel.

Good area The elevators were down, which was extremely inconvenient. Did a lot of walking in the city. The last thing I wanted to do is climb up the stairs.

Close to nearby Ghirardelli and Fishermen’s wharf.

Rooms were clean but out dated, lots of street noise.

The location. Right as we were checking in one of the people who is a semi permanent resident there over dosed and my kids had to see them removed from the room. When she got back from the hospital later that night her and her boyfriend smoked cigarettes next to our window all night long. Bathroom was gross. Tv did not work and the phone did not work. Elevator was also broken

Nice friendly place to stay a little messy but over all a good place.

Would stay again. We only use it to sleep and that works for us because the location is good.

Disappointing

I stayed here numerous times and I love it it’s very safe the beds are comfortable and it’s close to fisherman’s wharf which is what I like about it and the staff is very friendly

Very disappointing stay. The hotel environment was poor, and the actual condition was very different from what was presented online. There were homeless people sleeping in the hallway, the room door was damaged, and the chair in the room was extremely dirty and basically unusable. The room was also much smaller than expected. Cleanliness, maintenance, and security were all serious concerns. This property needs major improvements. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

I only liked the location. Not everything was thought out in the room for living; there wasn’t even a basic refrigerator. The air conditioner had dirty, uncleaned filters. Parking at the hotel is not free and there is a very small space for a car.

I’ve stayed here several times and I enjoy it… It’s close to a lot of good restaurants… The beds are comfortable and it’s worth the money… It’s a great value and nobody bothers your stuff

No microwave or fridge

From the filthy check in office, to the urine scented stairwell, to the moldy shower & walls, towels with hair on them, an a/c unit that was filled with ash, trash (and an acorn) and didn’t work, to the dust and dirt all over the room, we had a hot, dirty, miserable night. Do. Not. Stay. Here!!! Avoid at all costs!! The health department needs to visit this place and shut them down. I’m going to try and upload photos. You’ve been warned!
