The room was clean. The breakfast was a simple snack in the hallway, not great, but you get what you paid for. The location is a but sketchy due to the fast that there are many homeless that are around the area. It is semi safe since the front door requires an access key to enter. I didn’t like that the breakfast option is misleading.

Stayed for two days. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly and warm staff. The very small thing that could definitely be improved on was the ventilation in the bathroom. It smelled

This rundown hotel locked me out when I arrived for check in on July20, 2026. The shabby wooden door was locked and there was nobody there to answer. It looked like this rundown hotel is not in active operation. I demanded for a full refund but was denied. I am going to take Expedia.ca to court to recover my hard-earn money.

The hotel is going thru a renovation, paint tape on walls and you can tell a lot is new and some is old. When done this has the potential to be a great property. The staff is easy to get ahold of and the very friendly. The landing water and snack station is great, used it more then once when running out the door. The fans and cooling in the room needs to be a little improved. The fan was broken in my room and would move air but would not isolate. Fan still cooled the room, but it was just slower then it could have been. Some rooms apparently have windows fan and heater combo, others only have heaters. Mine just had a heater. A simple windows fan in every room would have solved all my issues. Also I would add a sheer curtain so I can have airflow but some privacy instead of closing the heavy curtains.

Very sweet staff and nice atmosphere!

People were so nice I felt like I was at home Just the location, getting there was iffy because the homeless but everything was amazing. Not the hotels fault for the location, just the cities.

There’s an extra hidden fee of $25 when you get there. Overall, the place was nice for the price and I would come again.

The staff was really wonderful, I lost my room key and they were so nice about creating a new one late at night. Location was close to the civic center. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

Excellent place to stay if you need something affordable in the area. The store across the street does run loud music untill around 10PM, but it quiets down after that. The cafe downstairs has great breakfast food at reasonable prices. Property was quite clean.

Walking distance to Out of the Closet!!!

Front desk was great but wish they would be around earlier, maybe by 9am. Area has gotten better, street can be noisy at night.

The staff were responsive via email and text. They had running water. The wifi was fine. The room, the vibe, the shared bathroom, the fact that I booked a room for 2 adults, and the bed situation was... (and I'm not joking) a triple bunk bed made for children. I'd have complained at the time but didn't want to risk the rest of the reservation because I had no other backup accommodation options.

The reservation said the lobby wasn’t staffed after 5. I showed up at 4:10p and the place is locked up. I called the number on the door and the lady had me open the lockbox to get the key. There is no key in the lockbox. She offers me a room in another part of town. I decline. She says they are charging my card anyway because I declined the room on a totally different property. Meanwhile I’m out on the street alone surrounded by a very sketchy crowd of people so I quickly ended the call and left. Ugh.

Excellent stay at a very reasonable price. I stayed here for three months -- I had not expected such a spacious and comfortable room given the central location. Large fridge+freezer in the room, clean and well-equipped common kitchen, full-blinding curtains (They're sliding wooden blinds), the whole place is kept really clean and tidy.
