Stayed here last year also for Dore weekend. Overall, staff was friendly and helpful, checkin and check out were very smooth. Elevator issues again. Only 2 of 4 working and then on Sunday night, 1 of the 2 working elevators broker so we were down to 1 elevator again on the 10th floor. Fixing multiple elevators would make the stay so much better.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Would we stay there again? Yes…because all the issues were not major as we didn’t spend that much time in the room. And at night it was quiet.

Staff was kind and accomodating. However, the carpets were stained in the room and in the hallways. The lobby was very pretty, leading us to believe it was a very modern and well kept hotel. Parking was solid. Room was "minimalist" at best. Bed was on the floor. No real night stands or lighting in the room. Bathroom was renovated, but still felt dirty and not thoroughly cleaned. I'd put a request for a crib/pack-n-play in my reservation, as our two year old was with us and it was never acknowledged, nor brought to the room. Elevators took forever. There are no amenities at all. We will not be staying there again, nor would we recommend anyone else.

    However

Check-in was easy and quick. Parking was available and easy! We were in walking distance from the theater which was the goal, and a bakery was within the block as well. Hot water was fast and plentiful, and the ice machine was just a couple doors down. They didn't seem terribly busy for a weekend, so no issues with the elevators. Would recommend.

    The room was super dirty

Stayed one night for a concert, a plus was that it was close to the concert venue and we were able to walk. Only thing I would say is the floors in our room had stains on the carpet which was a little offsetting. But overall it was a good stay. Parking was expensive considering how tight parking is.

I appreciated staying here as this was my first time in San Francisco. The fact that parking was included for my stay is a huge plus. Especially in San Francisco, where parking garages seem rare and finding parking is even more difficult to find or way too expensive. The hotel was nice and not too far from the pier 39. The staff was very helpful in providing recommendations for places to visit. The room was clean when we arrived, but did seem a little dated. It was still a very comfortable stay. The only thing was I had to ask for more towels, but room service so very fast and provided extra towels quickly. I appreciated and enjoyed my stay. We were here as a family and being here made our time in San Francisco easy and for the most part enjoyable. The only thing I did not like was that they allowed people who were not staying here to park in the garage; but this wasn't the worst part. It was bad in the sense that outsiders who were attending an EDM concert, parked and blcoked people by parking horizontally. They parked behind cars that were parked vertically. They were not cited or towed. It made it hard for people who were staying here, to leave. As a result, we left our car parked here during our stay and took public transportation, to avoid losing our spot or getting blocked from coming and going. Thankfully, I did not have an urgent need to leave or I would have been complaining. I did feel bad for the car parked next to us who was checking out and couldn't for hours.

Lady checked us in helpful. Male staff was rude and not helpful

The hotel was under some renovation on our floor but still very quiet. Room was very clean, beds comfortable Just the AC wasn’t too strong. Overall great stay would definitely stay there again!

If the carpets were replaced it would do wonders for the property.

No frills for sure. I expected much more. Our “city view” from the 11th floor was a back alley and view of Valet parking. Stripped down room. Bare bones. Felt hollow. Tv channel selection was horrible. A/C filter was dirty. Breathe bad air all night. Single cup coffee maker and only two coffee pods seated on a shelf. A refrigerator just sitting out in the open of the room that barely got cold. The lobby was a ghost town. No nothing. A vending machine around the corner. Front desk clerk was rude and acted like he didn’t want to give us more coffee. It was not a good experience at all.

Great location near orpheum. Beds were okay. Carpet was pretty stained! Windows dirty.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely its location. It’s centrally placed and made getting around the city fairly easy. However, beyond that, the stay left a lot to be desired. The hotel appeared to be very short-staffed, which showed in the level of service. Requests took longer than expected, and the overall attentiveness was lacking. For a hotel in a major city, this was disappointing. The rooms themselves were underwhelming. The beds are extremely low to the ground, which is uncomfortable and not very practical. The bedding situation is also not ideal. While there is a refrigerator in the room, there is no microwave available. In fact, there is only one microwave for the entire hotel, which is inconvenient for guests who want quick access to heating food. There is also no restaurant on-site, which limits dining options even further. Given the lack of food amenities, having only one shared microwave feels insufficient. Another issue was the towels. Guests are provided with a limited number, and the hotel encourages reuse in an effort to conserve water. While the intention is understandable, it can be inconvenient for longer stays or for guests who prefer fresh towels. Overall, while the location is a strong point, the hotel falls short in comfort, amenities, and staffing.

Do NOT reccomend. Thankfully the staff was kind and apologetic. The Lobby is misleading because it’s nice and modern although the bar is closed. The parking garage felt safe but smelled so strong of urine. The room was supposed to be available for checking at 4 although upon arrival at 7pm we were told the system was down and we were not able to check in so we got stuck sitting in the lobby for over 30 minutes. Once we got into our room the only nice things were the tv and the view. Bedding and carpets were stained and dingy. The bathroom door didn’t even close it was a “rolling door” which would be fine if you could actually roll it without feeling like it was stuck or going to pop off the rollers. The ceiling had visible mold on the roof. They only provided 2 towels with a sign asking to reuse towels although we had a room booked for 4 people. The air conditioner was disgusting and super loud. Just all around was NOT a nice stay.

The room had stains everywhere the bathroom was stocked for only one person with towels then I tried call front desk no one answered after I called like 10 times at different time frames and then fire alarm at 1045 am when I wanted to sleep in just one of my worse stays at any hotels and I travel a lot and visit low end hotel to high end resort no comparing but this would be at the bottom of the list so far
