The room was extremely clean, the mattress outstanding, and the location ideal. The table and chairs in an alcove was a very nice amenity. I have no complaints at all about the quality of this room. This is a small suggestion - the toilet was so low it felt almost like a child’s but that is a minor complaint.

We've stayed at this motel twice now, and we really like it. It looks a bit dated from the outside (though personally I like its midcentury vibes), but the interiors were remodeled relatively recently, and the rooms are always spotlessly clean. Property managers are friendly and kind. AC, fridge and freezer all in working order, and free parking! Most importantly, the location is absolutely excellent. It's an easy walk downtown or to the boardwalk. I expect we'll visit again.

This motel may be OK, but be warned: the owner is a very angry man if you ever encounter him. He berated me for no reason when I arrived a little early and asked what time the room might be available. He was so angry. I said I would come back at three and he proceeded to yell at me demanding to know my name. I was left feeling so uncomfortable that I did not stay there. I booked a room in another motel and had a great stay down the road at the aqua Pacific motel where I had a great room and they treated me with a great deal of respect.

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s super clean and I travel a lot for work. It can be a little loud at times since it’s on a Main Street but that’s no one’s fault. Property was super clean and maintained daily. Everything you need is there and there’s even a microwave and fridge. Parking can get tight I imagine on the weekends but I didn’t have an issue during the weekday.

Worst mattresses ever!!!! Staff tried to enter room before we even left. Never stay there again!!!

Room and bathroom were clean . Bed comfortable. When we walked on the floors in our socks, the white socks turned brown . Seems like the floors had not been cleaned in awhile .

Front desk mam was rude to me when I had trouble getting the coffee pot to work. There was nowhere to park when we arrived.

My partner and I had an excellent 1 night stay at The Islander. The room was updated recently, clean, and comfortable. You get 1 car parking spot per room in their lot. About 15 minutes walking and 5 minutes driving from the Boardwalk. The owners were communicative and friendly. We didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked cute and had privacy fencing around it. It was affordable and I would stay here again!

My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the floors in the room. I traveled with 2 kids and their feet would be so dirty at the end of the day. I would wipe their feet and

The staff was very courteous when I called over the phone as well as when I showed up to the front desk in person. The room was nice and clean and the facilities overall seemed to be very well-maintained. It was nice and quiet, easy to find and there was parking available.
