Lion Gate Hotel

This property was so nice!! The location was waterfront and in the middle of the promenade. The views were STUNNING. The staff were incredibly kind and the breakfast in the morning was delicious with an amazing view. I didn’t like that there wasn’t any parking and parking in the area was quite difficult to find.

Perfect location, big room, balcony over looked promenade. The staff went above & beyond - they were so helpful in arranging taxis and very pleasant to talk with! The staff made the stay incredible!!!! Nothing! It was perfect !!!!

Conveniently located, staff are accommodating, friendly and helpful. Note there’s no hotel parking and you must park at the Sarande Port which is a short walk. Other than not realizing there’s no hotel parking (my fault) there’s nothing to complain about.

The property was beautiful, very clean! Excellent location! The only thing that I can say was I didn’t care for the bed as it was a bit hard for me however that doesn’t affect my stay. It was perfect.

The hotel is quite modern and well appointed. The room was very nice and the aircon was not intrusive. We parked our car a fair bit away and it cost 15€ per day. Apparently, the marina car park is 5€ per day but we didn't know that beforehand.

The hotel was perfectly located Reception service during the day sucked. Staff’s behavior was a bit weird. Breakfast was the worst ever. While checking out, they claimed the towels were lost and that we needed to pay for them.

Just don't come by car, we drop off the rental car that day, so it was ok.

The location is right on the boardwalk, very central. Great views and breeze. Updated rooms, nicely done. Nice balcony space. Albania just doesn't have good infrastructure. Although the property was new, electrical outlets blew continuously, the AC started and stopped, etc. The staff fixed everything as quickly as they could, but my strong sense is that this is what you should expect. We were also there during a festival and the sound was thumping, loud, and late. When it ended, there was peace and quiet.

Great location and the hotel was new and modern. Front Desk was friendly and welcoming. There were no blankets on the bed. Only a single bed sheet. We called the reception desk about asking for more bedding but no one answered (they were supposed to be 24-hour service), so we slept with towels over us for comfort.

The location was great, right on the water, next to restaurants and bars. Tours depart right in the front of the hotel, including boat trips as the marina is right there. The room was spacious and nice, the mattress was amazing. This hotel was recently renovated and they did not left anything out. The rooms are modern and super clean. The staff was the friendliest. They made sure our stay was great and offered any help they can give us. We will definitely come back!!! Nothing. We liked all about it!

It is a nice hotel in the city center of Saranda! It is near the port and has a wonderful view of Ionian Sea. Rooms are spacious very clean and have excellent facilities .Perfect Location. The staff were very pleasant. Owners speak English, Greek, Italian and possibly a few other languages. It is worth it.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lion Gate Hotel, and it was simply delightful! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The sea view was absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony, soaking in the view and the sound of seagulls. During sunset, the colors painted across the sky became a daily highlight, making it the perfect backdrop for relaxation or a romantic dinner. Overall, my stay at Lion Gate Hotel was nothing short of magical. I can't wait to return and experience the warmth and charm all over again! Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a sprinkle of joy to their travel plans! Ps: Do not leave without tasting the food at NANA'S restaurant, next to the hotel Nothing!

The staff is exceptional! I can't remember a time when someone walked me to my room to make sure I had everything I needed. They are so kind and attentive. The hotel room is really clean and well appointed. I had a room with a view of the sea and it was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel
