Hotel Kalehan

Absolutely loved our stay in this boutique hotel. After traveling around Turkey and having mediocre experiences, Kalehan hotel surprised us. Renovated, spacious and spotless rooms (brand new bathrooms), beautiful and welcoming patio and delicious restaurant offering a varied breakfast and dinner. Every staff member was EXCEPTIONAL. All of them greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. If you’re visiting Ephesus, this is the hotel to stay at! Everything was phenomenal

Ordered quadruple room. Located in a very quit inner garden, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Great pool area. Lots of turtles walking around. Breakfast could be improved in variety of hot dishes and quantity as the ones that come during the last hour must choose from what's left.

The rooms were charming and comfortable. The gardens were lovely and a welcome space to relax after a busy day touring. We also appreciated the indoor common space with a fire lit to warm us from the evening chill. Nothing

A lovely countryside hotel with lots of sweet and thoughtful touches. The service, comfort and location were all top notch, don't bother staying anywhere else when in Selçuk!

Beautiful gardens and great memorabilia decor. Great daily breakfasts and dinner was excellent as well. Too early in the season for the pool to be up and running.

I loved the atmosphere and the people. The service and communication were excellent. I stayed out of season so the pool was closed and the rose garden was pruned, but it was still a lovely. I would love to see this place in season! The room was tasteful, comfortable and clean. The restaurant was great. The breakfast spread was delicious and generous. I really enjoyed eating dinner before moving to the sofas and enjoying a beverage in front of the wood stove. The location is perfect, easy to find, and close to everything with good parking.

What a wonderful surprise! Absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds, filled with history, antiques, and kitties! The pool was great to relax by, breakfast fresh and amazing, and such a helpful staff. Loved our stay here!

Beautiful oasis amongst the busy streets of Selçuk. Garden set up for resting and reading - I loved the pink/ green loungers under the trees. With all the antiques and collectibles I could almost imagine we were on a 19C Grand Tour. Reasonable size bathroom - all tiled, took a while for the hot water to heat up. Breakfast was so delicious with fresh fruit and homemade jams. Pool was a bonus. Staff were very hospitable and able to organise taxis etc No sign coming from Selçuk and as we didn't have internet we walked right past. Air-conditioning was a bit tricky to get going - but we managed. No jug in the room - maybe hot water was available at the hotel restaurant...I didn't check.

Parked right outside. Luggage carried to our room. Large room, clean. Very friendly staff. Very approachable, brought drinks to us by the pool. Excellent evening meal, very fresh. Atmospheric, pretty hotel and grounds. 10 mins drive to Ephesus. Would highly recommend, wished we could have stayed more than 1 night.

We wanted to be at Ephesus at opening to beat the crowds and heat which meant leaving before breakfast hours. The Hotel Kalehan staff were incredibly kind and started breakfast early when I asked if they could recommend an early breakfast spot or possibly put out a box breakfast for us before the official meal time. The food was delicious as well! This was also one of the few hotels we stayed in in Turkey that provided conditioner/hair cream in the bath products. There was only 1 AC unit for this 2 bedroom accommodation so even with the door open, bedroom #2 stayed quite warm overnight.

It is a very peaceful place in the city. It is a family run hotel with great service, a beautiful garden, comfortable room and a good bathroom. From the classic music with the breakfast buffet until the good food in the cosy restaurant it was a pleasure to stay here.

Hotel Kalehan is a little oasis to stay in the city and super great location just 10 min drive from Ephesus and the Hose of Virgin Mary. From its garden and pool you are just looking at the castle on the top. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff of notice the young gentlemen that were there all the time with great attitude and English spoken, quick on their feet and extremely dedicated. All the place is very clean, superb cooking! Stay for breakfast and dinner, fine cooking and best than in surrounding restaurants. Confortable rooms and pleasant swimming pool.

The hotel is very pleasant, quiet and with unique retro atmosphere. We had some issues with the bathroom door which was hard to open from inside.
