Although the hotel is quite small, considering the price, it still offers very good value for money. I would recommend it for travelers who just need a place to stay for one night before visiting Ephesus and then continuing to the next city. It is only a 2-minute walk from the train station, which makes traveling onward very convenient. The breakfast was also delicious, especially the eggs, potatoes, and toasted bread. Some of the other dishes might be less familiar for Asian travelers, though. The owner was very kind and even helped us carry our luggage. Since there is no electric kettle in the room, you can ask the owner downstairs for drinking water anytime (the weather here is very hot, so staying hydrated is important). If you do not mind staying in a small room, I would definitely recommend it as a convenient place for a short overnight stay As mentioned earlier, the room is very small, and the bathroom is also quite small. There are hardly any standard amenities or facilities available in the room, so if you need anything, you will have to ask the owner downstairs. There is only a staircase and no elevator, so you will also need to rely on the owner to help carry your luggage. However, if you do not mind these inconveniences, I would still recommend the place overall.

I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Urkmez. From check in to check out, the experience was so wonderful. First, the location is perfect. It is central and near everything but also nice and quiet at the same time. The room is comfortable but small and has a lovely balcony, overlooking of the side streets in downtown Selcuk. It's great for people watching but also very nice and quiet. You can see the castle as well! The staff could not be nicer and I mean it! What a lovely family. They went out of their way every chance they could to help us find restaurants, tours, cabs. They also recommended having dinner in a nearby town, Sirince, which we never would've known about! Selcuk was lovely and we had such a wonderful visit at Ephesus but what made this leg of our trip so memorable was The Urkmez Hotel. Also the breakfast was delicious. You can tell they really care about their guests. I have already been recommending them to my friends and family. If you plan on visiting Selcuk, STAY AT URKMEZ!! nothing

its near train station and town center no lift, but the staff help us with the luggage. the breakfast is Turkish style, no meat. It would be better if they can add sausage or potatoes

The vibe is relaxed. You get what you see especially for the terraced room we stayed in 101. Daily cleaning did not include sweeping the floors.

The staff go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful experience in Selcuk. The hotel is located near the bus and train station, very easy to catch a train to the airport or a bus to Ephesus .

The location was great, right next to a walking mall full of restaurants. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. The stairs were a bit challenging for my wife, but doable.

The staff was very friendly. The young man at the front desk (I’m sorry but I can’t find his name that I had written down but he was 19) was very helpful in helping me buy a train ticket. I was satisfied.

The location was great, and the rooms were simple and clean. Breakfast was good. The stairs were a bit steep and uneven which was hard for a couple of us traveling together. I do think the front desk attendant could have been a bit more attentive - but he was very nice. We only stayed 1 night, which was good.

The property is located in the middle of Selcuk, a short walk to the train station. Shops and restaurants are around the area. The hotel is clean, breakfast is good, the hotel staffs in the kitchen and the hotel receptionist, Matt, helped us a lot. He helped us get a taxi for transfer to the bus terminal .
