Fantastic historic hotel. A great experience

This hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and bar were great. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. Location was the best. Cannot wait to come back and stay again.

This hotel is an amazing experience itself. So historic and beautiful. You can easily spend a lot of time just wandering around and reading about it and seeing the sensational decor. It has layer upon layer of eye candy! So glad I stayed there and would again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely outstanding architecture and details! Breathtaking ballrooms you can explore. The bed was so comfy and the bar staff was extremely helpful! DELICIOUS room service breakfast! Absolutely would stay again we had an amazing time at this hotel.

When we arrived in our room, the bathroom had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard, and one of the robes was missing. We contacted staff, and they responded promptly by bringing an additional robe, which we appreciated. On the positive side, the pool area was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options. Parking was available but quite expensive, which added significantly to the overall cost of the stay. Overall, while there were some service and housekeeping issues that impacted our first impression, the amenities and breakfast helped make the stay more enjoyable.

The room was extremely musty upon check in , my wife had to go the spa and buy candles to place in the room . The king size mattress was placed on a queen size base so it was overhanging around the perimeter , unsupported…. I mentioned my concerns to the front desk , that they needed to not rent the room of fix the problems for the next guest . They were unfazed. This is an old and tired hotel with regards to the rooms . The common area spaces are in better condition.

What a luxurious experience! So comfortable and well appointed. The kind of place you imagine great drama and grand stories are constructed for. Truly legendary.

The hotel is beautifully restored and feels like you are visiting the roaring 20s. Make sure to visit the Mezzanine.

Rooms were clean and very spacious. Checking in and out was easy.

Room not ready at check in time. Then wrong room given. Staff at check in not approachable and charged out parking incorrectly. I did go back the next day and a new staff member was very helpful and reversed the charges. Hotel is overall beautiful. We prefer the Davenport Grand for future.
